Bumblebee a Brit?

Postby mikedude » Tue Jul 10, 2007 7:55 am

When Bumbleebee spoke, did he have a british accent? Is Mark Ryan, the voice actor for Bumblebee British? I was reading his blog and he used the word "bloke" and only brits use that phrase...

Mark Ryan is British. I think he was trying to speak with an American accent but you could still hear a bit of his British accent in there. Ironhide also has a semi-British sounding accent.

Mark Ryan did Ironhide for the game, he did a good job of no brit accent in that role, that I can tell. But the guy who played movie Ironhide had some brit in him (There was a voice actor playing a few characters in this movie, not sure if Ironhide was one of htem or not, but the actor also did some voices 20 years ago for Transformers)

I know Mark Ryan best from 'Robin of Sherwood' back in the early 80's where he played the warrior Nasir. He's also an accomplished author:- he's written several screenplays and for DC Comics. He was also a swordmaster and fight director on the set of 'King Arthur'. Best of all...Bumblebee's a Brit!! Yesss!!!

Ironhide has an American Southern accent. Bumblebee's voice was a normal American voice. He never sounded british. British accent are Hoist, Perceptor, Grapple, Skylynx, Shockwave, Hook, Onslaught, Blastoff.
