Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

Man, that was a weird episode. Lelouch goes nuts, almost does mind-bending drugs, almost makes out with Kallen again her will, has a gay moment with Rollo, a really sappy moment at school... then makes up for it all by committing another act of devastation against the Britannian Army.

Tekka? Shadowman? Me first? This is most unusual!

Anyway, more epic, just what I love about the show. And the scene with one million Zeros (and one Zero dog) was great. While still being great there’s not too much to say about this episode. Just what happens next?

I’m pretty ticked off we have to wait a whole two weeks for the next episode. Yeah the Chinese had a bad earthquake, oh boo hoo, but that shouldn’t prolong my Japanese show from airing. Who gives a flip about the earthquakes.

I was busy... I forget what I've actually been doing though.

I did not enjoy this episode very much... There was much nice boobage, however the story didn't really do much for me.

By now even Suzaku should have gotten it through his thick head that Lelouche had again been Zero all along, and should hunt him down and get the answer about Euphie's death.

Poor Viletta. I can already see she's going to choose Ogi over her loyalty to Britannia but it's going to be quite a wait it would seem.

When do we get to see Orenji again? I miss him. I love the way he gets outraged every time someone mentions the word orange.

I didn't really get a chance to see the episode until a short while ago.

I knew Zero was about to pull some crazy **** when I saw how many people there were. It's pretty much been confirmed, that when Zero is given a sufficient audience, something really bad for someone is about to happen. In this case, everyone reenacted the final scenes from V For Vendetta, minus the explosions. (Appropriate, considering how many similarities there are)

Maybe it's because the Japanese are a bit more sensitive to their neighbors than we are? There's over 65,000 dead, an another 23,000 potentially dead. That's kind of a big deal.

Well making me wait for my show doesn’t bring them back to life, but yeah, at least they thought about the grim situation over there.

Getting mad because they're holding off a show (That you're probably getting for free anyway) because of a recent tragedy, is kind of pointless. It's like getting mad at McDonald's because they had to close momentarily, because someone blew up the Burger King next door, and you want a double cheeseburger.

Damn...now I want a double cheeseburger!

The single for the R2 opening "O2" just got released.

Will be listening to that in the car on my way to and from work tomorrow, as well as most of tonight.

8-}

The ending single "Work Guy" of KNMG is out as well of course. Despite having a story centered mostly around boobs, the show has grown on me and makes me laugh my ass off, and the end credits kick ass.

Time skip to episode 24! :P

OMG! Gilford! Cornelia! Yeeeeeeeeeees! Yet more miraculous character resurrection, though I can't say I'm unhappy about it, I adore those two. Did Suzaku actually kill anyone with that warhead? I bet all ten million people randomly turned up in other places to the utter disbelief and elation of their families.

So here we are on episode 24... At this point I don't even care if Suzaku lives or dies anymore because his wishy washy resolve and attitude keeps pissing me off.

This episode delivers yet more confusing character behaviour, from Nina of all people. Lelouche once again so casually disregards the fact he may have to kill his sister who has been the driving force behind his actions for the past two seasons.

Schneizel was taken down way too easily as well, it was kinda disappointing. Being able to anticipate the exact wording and pacing of someone's conversation responses? Total bull.

Next week is the last episode, hopefully there won't be a third season after this. The story has run its course and I believe it is time to put Code Geass to sleep for good.

One thing that I was disappointed about was that I expected more interaction between Kallen and Lelouch. Damn those preview movies. The previews keep misleading me. The other disappointing part was Guilford. Ok, that's just ridiculous! Don't tell me everyone survived FLEIA.

The funniest part of the episode was when Diethard didn't get Geassed. That was too cruel.

Gilford is too awesome to get killed by disintegration. The wave probably bounced off his skin then started receding because he is that hardcore.

It's official: The Rules of Death no longer apply to Code Geass. I mean, c'mon. Cornelia was shot up with an auto-turret. That's not something that people typically survive. Shirley died from a single shot to the stomach, Cornelia survived several, with what is no doubt a higher caliber round.

Diethard died, so he'll be back in time for the finale.

In a short montage of people who have been messed up by Lelouch, they showed Mao, which is cool, because he was kind of a big deal.

Holy hell with Nunally, though. She can both see, and currently hold the most powerful Magic Button on Earth.

Next week: Grand Finale: Who's gonna die, who's gonna stay dead, and who's gonna win?

Diethard didn't die, he's just taking a nap after his pouch of strawberry dessert sauce burst in his shirt pocket. The "gun" Schneizel was holding, was in fact just a camera so he could take a picture of Deithart with strawberry sauce on his shirt to embarrass him at parties.

And the turret didn't actually fire any bullets, it just vibrated and upset Cornelia's balance making her fall over, hitting her head and knocking her unconscious.

But since nobody can die in Code Geass, you know this means they buried Shirley alive, and she's currently going crazy, trapped underground like Adam from Heroes.

Gilford, of course, didn't even come close to dying because Gilford is FAR TOO AWESOME to be disintegrated.

FLEIJA took one look at Gilford and said; "HELL NO MAN, I AIN'T MESSIN' WITH THAT ****!"

It was in fact only because FLEIJA was petrified of Gilford's SUPREME BADASSERY that it ran away before disintegrating Nunnally.

Who knows, if Gilford hadn't been there FLEXING HIS AWESOMENESS AND BLINDING PEOPLE WITH REFLECTED GLARE FROM HIS TRENDY SPECS, FLEIJA might have destroyed all of Japan!

You know who the entire cast of Code Geass owes their lives to? That's right! THE ENTIRE CAST OF CODE GEASS ONLY EXISTS BECAUSE GILFORD IS KIND ENOUGH TO LET THEM EXIST!

IF YOU PUT GILFORD IN A NO HOLDS BARRED EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF BATTLE ROYALE AGAINST CHUCK NORRIS, ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME, JACKIE CHAN, BRUCE LEE, MIKE TYSON, HOMER SIMPSON, AND COUNT F'ING CHOCKULA, NONE OF THEM WOULD TURN UP BECAUSE THEY'D ALL BE TOO F'ING SCARED TO FACE GILFORD!

So yeah... he didn't die.

...So what about Euphie? By the way, it should be spelled FREIJA. The Norse didn't have the same L/R switch that the Japanese do.

Why do I have the feeling that this is just going to end like Death Note? Hero dies, the world is changed forever regardless. Lelouch can't live unless he either learns one Hell of a lesson, or else he'll just end up looking like a douchebag, and people will continue to try to kill him.

I guess we'll learn next week. If there's an R3, I'm going to be pissed.

I know, but that's how it's been in the show, so go figure. And it's fun to say FLAYJAH. :P

After coming back to life, Euphie fell into an extra-dimensional portal and disappeared, so she could fall out of the sky into Suzaku's arms any moment now. At which point Suzaku will admit that he's sorry but he doesn't really love her... He only really wants to have a threesome with Lelouche and Rolo, who is currently running a successful candy manufacturing company in partnership with Nestle.

The only person who actually died is Mao, because he dared to defy the Pizza Hut sponsors by suggesting the cast get takeout from Dominos.

It would be pronounced more like "FLAY-ah" because the J is supposed to be silent. Of course, it's actual pronunciation is "FRAY-ah."

Don't screw with the Norse. A guy a like Thor could crack Guilford's skull open with his little finger. And a guy like Loki could pants Guilford while his skull is being cracked open.

That is clearly false. Gilford would glance at them and erase them from existence. :P

I am familiar enough with the mythology though, and am only kidding around. You don't need to explain it to me.

I like it the way Brian Clevinger put it:

This is the Norse, people. We're talking about a mythology wherein Thor and Loki, the Really Original Odd Couple, have to team up and dress like ladies -- let's note here that Thor has a Big F*** Off Beard -- so they can get their keg back from Phi Delta Giant to throw a big party back at their house. We're talking about a cast of heroes who fight for the fate of the world even though they know, for a fact, they will lose and that it's their own fault.

So here we are at the finale.

It's always the same with this type of anime, the finale includes much pointless banter that tries oh so desperately to make itself sound intelligent. Ah well.

"I'm going to kick your ass Suzaku, but not before I deliver to you a ninety page thesis on JUSTICE!!!!!!!1"

Besides that little quibble the ending was actually pretty good, and things were wrapped up nicely. Of course I get the feeling Lelouche didn't die, as he most likely took CC's code before it all went down, which is a pity, I would have preferred him to actually die. :P I'm still not certain on my feelings about Suzaku in all of this... Ah well. I suppose any ending he could have potentially had is worthless without Euphie anyway.

Would this really herald a lasting peace? I'm sure it would only be a matter of time before people found something else to squabble over.

And in closing... When Orenji was shown working on an Orange farm, I laughed so god damn hard.

Gilford also looked awesome in his shades with his hair down. XP

What an ending!

I realized by the end that Lelouch HAD to die, and Lelouch even gave a reason for that. Make everyone hate him, then love the guy who kills him. And that is what the Zero Requiem is.

I did find it ironic that, after all this time, Zero killed Lelouch.

Jeremiah in the orange farm: Ha.

And, all in all, everything has been answered...except...hey! What is C.C.'s name?!

Apparently, popular opinion seems to be that Lelouch took V.V./Charles' code when they had their final confrontation in the World of C. Remember when Charles grabbed Lelouch by the throat, with the hand which had the code printed on it? IIRC that code would have passed to Lelouch when Charles was killed... or something like that. There's a bunch of guys over at the Animesuki forums arguing about a whole heap of stuff.

Something to think about... :P

As for C.C.'s name... ask Taniguchi! :P

Hmm, doesn't one lose their Geass powers when they gain a code? That's what happened with CC. But then when the Emperor gained VV's code he was still affected by Lelouche's Geass as well.

Still there is no concrete evidence to support either theory, so they won't find themselves getting very far in that argument. :P Silly guys.

OK i confuse

Did CC still have her powers after the showdown with Lu mom and pops??

if they eva do a movie, i would like it so that so she pass her power on 2 Lu during the 2 months that past after the final showdown and sumtime lata, somehow his mom and dad came back 2 life and he goes back 2 being Zero to defeat them. T

Great ep tho even tho i jus thought Lu could have made his brother seen like a bad guy to the world with his geass and then pass his gover of the world to Nunn and the rest of the U.N. and he could just retired and fade away somewhere in Japan with CC.

UPDATE

...if u think about it after watchin the ep again......Remember when Suzaku and Anya (both who had geass cast on them) touch C.C., they can see her memories(in Anya case, her memories).....

But when Nunn(who have 2 geass cast on her) touch Lu hands.....she saw his memories so i got a theory that C.C. gave Lu her code cause Lu touch Nunn hands be4 2 grab the wand and nuthin happens but now 2months lata she touch a bloody Lu and saw his plans so that lead me 2 believe that CC gave him her code.

Plus the code dont activate until they die the 1st time so I think Lu i mean L.L. was probaby the one pulling the wagon at the end

Gurren-Lagann ......Macross Frontier.....Code Geass.........are history now and all was good shows.....

Bring on Gundam 00 season 2 already
