I've had the idea to kitbash a "pre-earth" version of Bumblebee as he appeared in the G1 cartoon, but so far I can't find a decent "starting model" Transformer. None of the existing versions of 'Bee look as if they'll work; they're all too tall to make a flat, saucer-shaped hovering thing. Any ideas as to what/who I could use?
Thanks,
Glarryg

Re: Conceptualization for a Bumblebee Project
I've considered using the Star Wars Transformers Snow Speeder figure or Sideways.

Thanks, Tom! I didn't even think about considering the Star Wars TFs.
