Have you ever created a bot that you've always wanted because either you couldn't find it or afford to buy it?

I'll share my two and then everyone else tell about theirs! I desperately wanted two different former Botcon figures: Rachet and Darksyde Megatron. To make Darksyde Megatron, I purchased another Cybertron Defense Red Alert and repainted him and put on a Mega head. Then I bought for Botcon Rachet, a Energon Towline and repainted him! Presto, I now have two modified Botcon figures!

Tell me what your modified bots are. They don't have to be limited to just Botcon figures!

I was tempted to purchase a cyb metroplex
and shave his nose slimmer like the G1 version,
but I didn't know what to do about the ant head helmet....

I bashed me old Towline into Classics Ratchet. He's only half done mind; I have yet to finish painting his veichle mode.

Of course, while he does transform very well, I am against transforming him. I know I was using the wrong sort of paint from the start for a toy, but it looks good on him. All I have to really worry about is paint being scratched off from around the joints and swivel points. Plus I need blue for the eyes and windows, cos red looks plain wrong.
I also need better red paint


That's it so far really, although I have painted some parts for my Classics Superion.

I have a feeling that there are plenty of Classics Seekers that would fall into the theme of this thread.

I too want to see this custom Darksyde Megatron.
