did anyone watch masterforce last night 27/10/07, because it was the ginrai episode. and the end the ep i was expecting him to say ginrai but he said it was Optimus Prime, do you think the dubb has got it completely wrong or is it just they could not be bothed

I have the series and the dub consistantly names him Optimus Prime. They also call everyone else by their english names. Which, when you consider that some of them are humans, is kinda funny.

Yeh i saw it but only caught it half way through, and as it was my first episode of this genre of Tf's i found it pretty confusing

Yeah, Masterforce is a very different animal, and it's hard to jump into a later episode and just pick up what's going on, since they establish the unusual, new stuff very early on. Couple that with the fact that you're watching the hilariously-messed-up StarTV dub, and you're really not getting the benefit at all.

agreed, thats why i'm thankful that the dvd's are the subs!
