Do Sharpies work on unpaintable plastic?

Like the title says basically. Recently got Unite Warriors Grand Prime, and was disappointed when I realised Prowl can't quite be fixed by the Reprolabels set, as the unpaintable parts are cast in white instead of black. So was wondering if anyone had any experience trying Sharpies on that type of plastic.

I have no experience with Sharpies but it SHOULD work. Unpaintable plastic is only unpaintable to the types of paint used in mass-production by factories. Hobby paint, ink or whatever should work.
