I just got the Bumblebee movie figure for a 2nd time, Because the first one I got was jammed. When you transform it you have to press a little button on the hood of bumblebee and it should pop the hood forward. Instead it was jammed and i had to pull it and in the process it broke off. Hasbro is making these toys harder and harder to transform everytime i buy a new one. Does anyone else have this problem.

i broke my jazz alternator i exchanged it at wallmart said it was already broken. ha. but they didn't have any more left. so sad.

No, but I have had some G1 stuff deteriorate to the point it brittles and breaks.

I just snapped the clip off of G1 Mirage's shoulder cannon. Really no fault of my own there, I'm incredibly careful with my stuff. The damn thing just fell apart when I removed it from his shoulder.

That sucks. You went to return it and they had no more. I thought the same with Bumblebee, And as i was walking out of the toy section i noticed it sitting on a bottom shelf in front of a marvel legends figure so i grabbed it.

I just broke off a clamp /clip whatever on Blackout's wing/shoulder and almost broke the other side off. But luckily it doesnt hurt anything except make it a little more annoying when posing him in robot mode.

Seriously, the damn thing was either brittle or already broken because I bought it 4 hours ago, and first time transforming him it does this. Arghhh.

I'm very careful with my transformers. The worst I have right now are stress marks.

Does it count if it's the other way around? MP Megatron left me with a few cuts and blood blisters - his joints were ridiculously tight and hard to pry apart (notibly around his neck, shoulders, and where his legs slide down into his 'boots').

that sucks Counterpunch, will you be able to fix it or do you have to hunt around for a replacement? I don't have a G1 Mirage yet so I don't know what the clip is like. *runs off to tfu.info to look at clip*

The only figure that I have broken so far is Armada Powerlinx Cometor whose brittle plastic on the left leg that attaches to the foot broke. It's pretty hard to find a loose one in good condition without having to buy another Powerlinx Jetfire

Me too. Just the other day while trying to transform Comettor to landing gear mode, the legs snapped of just as you describe from the swivel joint. Jetfire is now unable to land.

I think he can be fixed, with a little hot glue. and some patience. But its still sad, when you feel it snap in your fingers, and your like "ohhh shii**** it broke".

The plastic ring that surrounds his heel is too thin. Mine is broken on one side and hanging by a thread on the other side. I think I had him one week before he cracked. It probably can be glued but he won't be able to transform though...

It seems like new TF quality has declined over the past year. I have read many complaints about MP Megatron and the movie figures. Even I broke movie Bumblebee. I'd rather pay more for better quality (ie. LEGO vs Megablocks).

I bought Transmetal 2 Scourge years ago, and I broke something on him the first time I tried to transform him. Too bad I can't remember what it was.

I bent that internal plastic "fin" thing that's inside of G1 meg's chest, but he still transforms (but whenever I transform his chest I have to do it at an angle so that it matches the bent internal parts).

When I am transform mine usually the little bits crack of from their mold or clip or whatever. But never has it broken
