Does anyone ever remember something called "Gold/Silver/Bronze Elite Distributor" Editions of TRANSFORMERS: GENERATION 1, Vol. 1, #1 covers? According to this site

Each was signed by 4 members of the creative team (including Pat Lee, Roger Lee, Chris Sarracini, and James Raiz) and came with an Official DREAMWAVE Certificate of Authencity in sealed bag with DREAMWAVE Seal.

Though it isn't clear how many of these exist, each certificate is numbered. It's also unclear how Dreamwave used this issue as an incentive, but it's believed to be related to the number of copies of this issue were ordered for comic shops.

Or maybe there was a 'Dreamwave Club'?

Just thought I'd ask as there is hardly any information on this. It would also be cool to see a scan of the certificates.

Wow, no idea. There's a local shop around here that still has piles of packs of Dreamwave issues still shrink wrapped, wonder if these incentives were of a crazy enough level to drive that amount of ordering.
