First Halo 3 Toy Pics Tommorow! (9/7/07)

Postby UFO » Thu Sep 06, 2007 9:35 pm

The first look at the Halo 3 offical toy pics (to be released on March 2008) on Spawn.com are to debut tommorow, or September 7th! I don't really play the game, but I do love the toys.

The story:

The toys should be here:

And here:

See I'm the opposite. Well, really it's love/hate. Love the game. Hate the players. And don't really care for the figures, but I do have a few of them.

I like the figures, and I figure I'll pick up a Halo 3 chief, then I'd have one chief from each of the games. Although my first Halo chief is a red. And my Halo 2 chief, the bar for his legs broke, so those swing in the wind unfortunately.

I remain dissappointed that Hasbro didn't grab the license and run it out of their GIJoe department. :-(

Although that would have been nice, I fear that Hasbro has enough of a monopoly over toy lines already.

Instead we will get a "statue" from McFarlane.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

Looks like the first images are popping up, Chief looks good, less statue-like than I would have thought.

Looks to be the same articulation as the Halo 2 chief figure, only difference is, he's more shiny for Halo 3.

Maybe McFarlane is going back to the old articulated figures like he used to make.

*EDIT*

Maybe he is taking lessons from ML's and DCSH lines.. Looks like pretty decent articulation on that fig above..

Looks like he may in fact be going back to the articulated figures CB.

The chief looks pimp and articulated as hell.

For some of you, you guys did know that the Halo dudes have always ben really articulated, and that they just improve on where they put the atrticulation (so that it does't cut at the armor) every time?
I have the Halo 2 red Spartan and the red alien guy with the four jaws and the toed boots.

Good lord those are gorgeous. I've been waiting months to see these. Sucks that they're smaller than the previous ones released. But these are much more in scale with the game models. The Elites shouldn't look so deformed and cartoony.
