I am trying to find that reporting but cant find it on our site. The picture probably was Jet/Helicopter and they opted to give us 2 helicopters.

I was referring to TFormers. I read there a few days ago that it was supposed to be two jets. I can't find the article now but I do remember it was there that I seen it.

Not too shabby. I like the head design, and the gravity powers sound awesome.

thats a let down, i knew the set was going to be all repaints but to have 2 of the same mold is just stupid. And it doesnt help that its the worst CW mold so far. I will wait till i see the final product but based on this ill be passing on at least one of the chopper chicks.

Like really large wings that don't seem to be related to the a/b arms; maybe a new legends figure to make a backpack, or just the remolded ladder; at the very least the chest doesn't look like groove, and even has some of Hotspots sculpted detail on it, so maybe no Groove, but a new jetpack figure.

Halfy way serious. I don't have a problem with a female character being any shape really as long as its a interesting character design. The point was people decrying victorion as sexist will probably follow the logic that it's objectifies women because. My point was the actual sexism here is the fact it took nearly 30 for women to have a more regular role and representation in the franchise, and people view that as a bad thing.

Seriously though, TT's Superion uses way too much of the same white plastic as to make it visually painful; and I agree, waiting 'til official art/pic's are available would probably be best; however, being both a combiner and a mob of fembots, this is an easy insta-buy for me.

More likely because on the Internet there will always be someone to call something sexist, because at this point, washing every sentiment or issue with a weak coat of feminism is the best way to ensure the long term persistence of patriarchy, while garnering praise for supporting the cause.

Actually, I like that they have similarities color wise, being a team and all, but it's too perfectly matched is what I'm saying.

What I'm not saying is that it sends a gender bias message (that boys don't have fashion sense) but that's just another facet of mother of two boys and staunch feminist that I'm sure no one wants to listen to me go into AGAIN.

(honestly, this may have a lot to do with listening to my 6 year old spout on about how something is only for girls because of it's color and something else is only for boys because of it's color. Until he started school, he never associated color with gender, I never have let him believe that, he used to like pink because it was a lighter version of his favorite color, red... until other kids told him it was a girl color)

No, there's some merit to both design types. On the one hand, a unified design makes the combiner look like something that's MEANT to go together and denotes the bots as a team.

On the other hand, a lack of unification makes the bots feel like individuals, not incomplete parts serving a bigger robot. Much as I like them, the Constructicons and Predacons can look a bit superficially samey.
