Wow. I'm glad someone posted a 'before' pic. That's a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference. If I collected the movie lines, I'd have to cave and get this. Looks great.

No.... I just can't bring myself to use the Michael Bay explosion emoticon, in spite of how awesome these are. I'd just feel... dirty. Can't wash away... the stain.... water won't go hot enough....

These just look too large for the toy and I don't see how they can be called accurate. Maybe if they were painted or something, they would look better. Nah, I'm happy with Ironhide as-is.

would have preferred a cheaper price, but aesthetically, completely worth it

I ordered my kit after the restock at RK.com Just got it today. I LOVE it! Yes, the weapons are big, but have you looked at what size they are in the first movie? He's a weapons expert. He SUPPOSED to have huge guns!

Now the swords, that's a different story. Did Ironhide use them at all in any of the 3 movies? If so, I'll utilize them on my fig. If not, I'll just keep them in the box.

BTW, RK did a great job color matching the gray. These parts blend right in. They are heavy and can cause the arms to droop sometimes, but there are some screws holding Ironhide's arms together and you can tighten them a tad to help with that. Just wish the shoulder mount could be tightened.

If the red version of Leader Ironhide makes it to the US, I may have to order a second set!

I hope the mentioned G1 repaint of Movie Leader Ironhide makes it across the pond this year, or at least available via the Electronic Bay for a reasonable price.
I would make the new version my Ironhide and use old version as maybe Trailbreaker..?

Has anyone used Leader Ironhide as a Trailbreaker, or any other character..?

Back on topic, these Fans Want It upgrade sets can be snatched up on the 'bay for quite a good price, even to the U.K.! :-$
