g1 dinobots dinobot.
i was looking at nick kelsch's tf icons and i was looking at a character called dinobot. he was the combind form of all 5 dinobots. i've seen this before and i was wondering was this in a comic or just some fantasy combination.

Ive seen some kitbashes of this , but as far as I know as well it was never an official thing.

I'm still getting used to the fact that the 1986 movie takes place 3 years in the past now.

Actually, there is a canon combined form of the Dinobots that appeared in the IDW comics known as "The Beast".

The toy that i have seen which may have just been fan made i don't really know but it looked similar but the head is what throws me off.

i dont count that as cannon as it was an extra which cam with either part of season 2 of the G1 DVD sets!

This is not really canon and it was not from a IDW comic book.
Its from a UK only mini comic that was included in a DVD box set and was published in 2004.
In 2004 Dreamwave comics still had the rights to TF comics not IDW.
But this is not a DW comic ether.
It was published for Metrodomes DVD box set only and doesnt really fit into any of the established TF comic or show continuities.
As far as I know there are no plans for it to be reprinted by IDW.
