Getting Close to $300M

Postby Obi-Wan Kenobi » Sun Aug 05, 2007 5:17 pm

It looks like after this weekend's box-office Transformers will be just about $3.7M short of the magic $300M mark. Pretty soon, it will be the 25 highest grossing film in the US for all-time.

I think we should all head out for one last weekend hurrah next week and push it over that milestone.

who's with me???

Weapon: Double-Barreled Assault Missile Launcher
It's no longer in theaters in my area. As long as it out does Harry Potter, I'll be happy.

I think James Cameron pays the MPAA to pull movies before they can get close to his $600m Titanic movie box office. I WISH SOME MOVIE OUT THERE WOULD KICK TITANIC TO THE CURB!! That movie was out in theaters for 220 days. longer than many movies ever get play in these days.

If TF is already leaving the theaters that's absurd. It's barely been out a month and now it's being phased out? I just saw it this morning again with my niece. It was my 4th time and her first time seeing the movie and she really liked it.

That movie really never gets old for me.

Im sick and tired of harry potter and will be so happy if transformers does better than that pile of crap.

Critics seem to like pointing out that transformers is based on an 80's toy, yet they go on like j.k rowling invented the whole wizard and magic thing.

I'd love to see it again in the theater, but 3 times in 1 month is my limit :)

i hope its not the same comic that they give you when you buy a ticket, cause that was weak. when the japanese bought a ticket to TF, they got a gold 70s BB :? .
