Ah...Ultimate G.I.Joe...but with less ultimate. Actually, I didn't like them too much. It was too predictable, and had nothing on the original comic. Apparently, a great number agreed with that because it was cancelled after a year.

But then, different strokes for different folks.

True, what I loved about it was how they portrayed the characters, Cobra Commander going from a bumbling idiot with a speech impediment in most incarnations of GI Joe, to an actual leader who was still a certifiable lunatic.

BeachHead being the R.Lee Ermey of the group and actually being portrayed as awesome, when I never saw him in the other comics nor the cartoon.

The only place Cobra Commander was like that was in the cartoon. In the original comic he was pretty bad ass. Hell, he even took out Serpentor in the comic (helmet lined full of C4 really can come in handy).

Beachhead appeared a lot throughout the second season of the show, and then the movie. He was kind of looked over in the comic, however, he was there...he was just sort of looked over.

I guess to me was that Reloaded tried doing the Ultimate thing, but fell flat because it just couldn't content with the original continuity, imo.

He is currently in the seires published by Devil's Due Press.

I will do what I usually do with all the other movies made from cartoons when I was a kid. Take a wait and see attitude. Personally though this little change to GIJOE does not give me a first good impression.

This is as retarded as when Singer refused include "...and the American way" in Superman Returns. It's not a crime to love America and put that love on display. That was the whole point behind GI Joe in the first place...

Ahhh, sorry. I didn't mean to get testy. It's very early in the morning, and I'm sick as a dog watching a three year old and a seven months old.

My only point was is that more and more people like to think that "Loving America" is somehow inherently wrong. I don't think anyone should condemn anyone else because they love their country. I think France sucks, but I won't tell any French citizens that it's wrong to love their country.
I especially dislike self-haters, who have no problems taking advantage of the liberties a country gives them, but condemns the country as a whole.

Does smean a Joe force in each of the NATO countries?
