I've just been reading Luke Skywalkers profile on Wikipedia, and i'd like to know if there is any Darth, or Jedi in history that could ever defeat him at his Grand Master level in one on one combat.

i think the only one whod be a match for him is anakin, had ne not lost most of his power by being cut up be obi wan. luke is supposed to have the same potential as anakin did, only anakin was never able to realise his.

In their prime i think on Windu, Yoda, Anakin and Palpatine could trouble Luke.

yoda and palpatine could probably give him a bit of trouble, but they wouldnt push him to his limit. mace couldnt do much to him though, he might be good with a saber, but luke is so far beyond him in the force mace wouldnt put up much of a fight.

Hmm... Let us see:

Luke with mastery over the light AND dark sides of the force (to the point where he dumps the whole stupid paradigm in the first place), without having been poisoned by the evils of pre-clone wars Cirque Du Soleil Lightsaber Dancing?

Revan might pull it off. Anybody else is screwed.

I though he was only a Lightsider!

Hmm.. Luke's greatest foe would be... Time, and eventually Death. No matter how powerful they seem to be, the Jedi Masters or Sith Masters or whatever never seem to be able to escape the hands of Death, and their fate tends to end up as a pile of bones in a tomb.

As a second greatest foe I would have to say either Vader (presuit) or Darth Reven. One seemed to come from the Force itself and the other was the Heart of the Force. Maybe Exile also (Death of the Force)
