I just won an auction for my main grail.. and I don't mean to rub this in your face, Swerve, but I got the Diaclone Reissue Magnus!!! I won it on ebay on tuesday. I can't wait to get it!

Other than that, I don't have much in the way of grails. I'm sure there will be a new one now that I've got the Diaclone Magnus.

That's awesome! I'm glad someone found him because he's one of those ones you rarely see. How much did it end up costing? I want to get an idea for what they might be going for now.

The grail I want hasn't been released yet--Movie Voyager Optimus Prime. Can't wait until someplace has pre-orders for them. The galleries I've seen lately have changed my mind from buying a Leader class to Voyager. Maybe I'll buy 2 Voyagers, since they'll cost as much as 1 Leader.

Exactly why I haven't dropped the money for a normal swoop - I've been saving my pennies cuz I know that's what they go for.

even that one had a "factory flaw" where the goldchrome was chipped off the beak.

I think the main problem here for not finding it is that there is no armada scattershot.

A Tidal Wave(finally getting this in the mail)

Most of the ones I want or didn't have until recently just because I was cheap as I'm sure Tidal wave wasn't that expensive.

When I decided to collect these guys for a collection, I put on the list:

Alt Shockwave.
Alt Swindle.
Anime Galvatron.
20th Prime.
Micron Legends Tidal Wave (he looks a helluva lot better in purple).
G1 Soundwave.

I got all of the above (and a few more :oops:

) except for Soundwave. Hopefully that will be remedied when Encore comes out.

My Grails of collecting are

MP Megatron(gonna trick the wife into getting it for me for father's day :grin:

)

G1 Predaking(I promise myself I will buy the set as soon as I pass my CPA exam)

Fortress Maximus(I will buy him as soon as I receive my MBA)

after those three I will knock down old G1 groups like dinobots, all the G1 remaining gestalts, sky lynx, and the other city formers.

Finally once I finish all of those I will then go out and buy all the versions of certain characters like starscream and the seekers and ultra magnus.

I got a lot of grails right now, but they will be easy to obtain once my educational needs are met.

As far as Starscream goes, I've pretty much got it all. I would like to get ahold of the clear ghost starscream PVC from ACT 5 in japan, but I think I have everything else.

It's more a matter of finding things at the right price now.

I want Micron Legend Shockwave to complete my shockwave collection, but I am hoping to find it loose for like $15-$20.

Turqouise G2 Grimlock comes to mind

The brazilian crazy colors of Bumblebee are VERY hard to find

I all ready purchased the most expensive items in my collection, Goodbye Megatron set (with poster!!) and Lucky Draw Secret Starscream so the "hard" part is done. Ok that's not true, displaying all this crap is the hard part.
