They look way too similar to the USA versions... or am I seeing something wrong here? Hmmmmm.

the scan is grainy, but that doesn't effect it enough to hide the fact that those are both USA version Jazz.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
More than a little disappointed with Jazz. Basically, all he's got is a more accurate tone of blue and extra paint apps on the sides of his alt mode. The headlights and front grill engine parts are still bare plastic with no metal paint, and no energon glow paint apps.

Even the tail lights are unpainted.

No way I'm paying Takara prices for this.

Yeah, I can't imagine a day where I might be buying both versions... and still am unhappy with them enough to buy a third just to PAINT it better. Groan.

Either way, I DID buy the Hasbro version to practice my airbrushing on, and it was precisely because he lacked paint apps that made him a perfect candidate...as well as being cheaper than the average Gundam MG model kit.

Takara's just not enough of an improvement to warrant importing. If I'm going to be repainting the toy anyway, I can easily add those extra paint apps myself.
