and TRU . . . and they have nothing new! TRU has twice as many Starscreams and Ironhide as last week, wave 1 deluxes, couple of leader figures, FABs, cyber slammers, bunch of other movie merchandise. Wal-Mart had the loads of Swindle and Bonecrusher. Target mainly had their exclusives.
I will say one thing though, each time I see leader Megatron I like him a little more. The blue adds to him, the red is OK, and he is quite heavy in the box. Must keep away from stores that have him.

Hey Jaws I was just like you...the more I saw Leader meg...the more I liked him...at first I liked how he looked custom painted silver etc...and I even almost bought Voyager Meg...but then I saw Leader Prime again and that was it...I got it at Target for $35.99...but I read somewhere someone bought Leader prime for $29 at Aldis...so worth calling and checking...
After having the Leader Meg for a few days now...I think I am gonna just keep him in the original blue...it actually looks really cool on him...the only thing is I might add some detailling and mod the articulation on the elbow...

any luck?

Dayton is forsaken.
Same stuff on the shelves that's been there for a month. BB is but a dream so far.

Skywarp83 wrote:They restocked everything from top to bottom. They have transformer movie figures covering the whole sections of both stores. The new bumblebee 08, Protoform starscream which was hard to find. They had a whole shelf load of pink arcee which is very hard to find. It was like a gold mine in there. The best part is that there was no collectors in site as i was buying. This was a great day for my collecting. Anyone have any luck today, Because i know wal-marts all over were restocking.
hey skywarp if you want I had a friend make me this sig, but I'm too old school to use it, take it and do with it what you want..it would make a good sig, it just needs your name added..

P.s. its the correct size too..

I will never buy anything from a corrupt corporation like Wal-Mart.
But I am thinking about picking up some of the toys.

Thanks for the heads up!
I just went to 2 Wal-Marts, nothing at the first, scored at the second. They had the new deluxe wave out. I got the new Bumblebee, Arcee, and reluctantly, Dreadwing. They also had Fab Megatron and Frenzy, but I bought neither since I'm not buying those.

. . . Stopped at Meijer and Wal-Mart near my house on the way home from work. Meijer is currently re-modeling/rearranging the store, horrible selection of movie toys.
Wal-Mart had one deluxe Brawl on the peg, no voyagers, tons of Real Gear, Cyber Stompers, blaster guns. On the other hand they restocked the end of an aisle with about 20 Leader Optimus Primes and 2 Leader Megatrons. They now have only one Megatron. Plenty of Optimash Prime at other aisle too.

any luck?
None, sir. I haven't checked in with my flight attendant friend to see if he's had any luck in any of the cities he's been to this week. Now I wish I hadn't made all of those jokes about male flight attendants though...
My local stores have been restocked and ravaged during the day while I'm at work though apparently.

Wal-Mart in Pekin, IL on Monday was a veritable motherlode of '08 Bumblebees, Starscreams, Ironhides, Arcies, and (oddly enough) like a dozen Leader Primes. It was only then that I realized how big of a scam eBay is for these things - $19 for movie deluxe Bumblebee online, $9.9x at Wal-Mart.

Leader Meg's Elbow wouldn't even bend close to 90 degrees...I just carved off some plastic and enabled a little more bend to the arm.

But now everytime I go check out the toys, it looks like a tornado went through and took everything but Swindle and like 2 Ratchets with it. So it'll probably be a while before I can find the newer wave.
Lucky there's 2 Ratchets. I haven't seen that guy yet.

Hopefully, not go the way of G1 toys. Like real estate properties. The older they get, the more ridiculously expensive they become.
