IDW cover contest, anyone got the characters yet?
I got 3 characters, did anyone get their email yet? Kinda excited,

Me too, just have tofigure out how to make that guy the main of the tree and let the background be recognizable.

I'm having a very hard time, 3 with one main focus point/guy, with a small space, is strange, but I hope I do a good job. I'm not a professional but I love to draw. Seems like no one is excited about this.

Do what I'm doing, draw on a A3 pice of paper, then go to a copy shop and scale it down, if you don't have a A3 scanner.

Im doing mine in A3, I have just finished all my character concept sketches and i am ready tto rock-just got to settle on a composition, blue it, ink it, scan tit and win it

This has been lots of fun so far, i cant wait to show ya all my drawings i have about ten pages of A2 paper filled with possibly my best tf sketches ever!!!!!!!! I is excited!

Ill have to scan the pages as 2 A3's (I only have an A4 scanner, but my mate has a A3er)

They obviously added the new characters and changed the contest rules because of the enormous amount of entrants they received.
It's always easier to work large and then scale it down. I just find it difficult to get every last detail in. Even though my TF art isn't really detailed filled. When it comes to covers it has to be striking...to those that read the book and to those that might pick up the book. Composition can help with that if my drawing sucks.
