Does the reproduction method of Budding appear in the IDW G1/Regeneration One comics?

I have no idea, but it looked like it. Yet one more thing that I really, really didn't like about RG1.

I don't know that it was ever made clear where Jhiaxus' next generation of Cybertronians came from in RG1, but there was no explicit mention of budding. It's entirely absent from IDW's own Transformers continuity.

budding was not seen or heard of in the entire Regen series............so how did it look like it was there?

Jhiaxus was said to have come from a timed before the war.
