IDW / Hasbro questions
- Weapon: Ion Particle Blaster
I have this question concerning the IDW comics, and since characters die in every continuity whether they are Autobots or Decepticons in order to sell new toys or if their toys have been discontinued. Does Hasbro gives a list of names to the writers of IDW Transformers for which character to kill off? Does Hasbro has a saying in which character is going to die, died? or the IDW Transformers writers have GREEN CARD in their stories?

Hasbro has prevented planned character deaths in the past (Springer), but I don't think they've ever mandated a death.

I think it was aimed more at the IDW comics then the movie which was just a shelf clean

Re: IDW / Hasbro questions
I think they sometimes dictate a character who must appear in an issue somewhere (hence the Tankor/Rhinox cameos), or say they need to be in the body of their new toy, but they don't say you must kill this person.

I don't know about tankor, he was partnerred with the other Tankor to great effect. Rhinox was used to illustrate what happens to beast mode transformers. ..
