I have a feeling Barricade is an after thought by the animators. Kind of like Bonecrusher showing up in the wideshot during the decepticon arrivals for the final fight in ROTF.

I don't recall any set pictures of the Saleen Police car on set. Did anyone see it around?

If that is wheeljack Bumblebee is satnding next to then that is almost the same kind of scene in the transformers movie 1986 when Arcee stands in front of dead wheeljack! The Saleen Police car was "retired". That shot of Barricade at the :54 to :56 second marks was probably just an "easter egg" and likely one of many throughout the movie since this is the final one. There is probably going of be a ton of drone appearances like Bonecrusher in RotF. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the Constructicon components in the background at some point.

What is really surprising me is that nobody is actually commenting on the song. There have been a number of people somewhat frustrated that Iridescent got picked instead of Burning in the Skies or Waiting for the End. I'm curious to see what they have to say now that we actually have movie footage going along with the song. I still maintain that Iridescent was the better choice although the Soundtrack version is slightly more up-tempo than the version on A Thousand Suns. (just bought the soundtrack this evening and all I can say is "HOLY S*** IT IS AWESOME!")

Yeah it's deffinently topspin, you can see his head withe visor, mullet, and everything else about his face on the bottom of the screen a little to the right. sad...

For a Michael Bay film (and being Transformers), I love how all the action shots are crystal clear and sharp when compared the previous 2.

I noticed that when I first heard the song. Let go of all the sadness and frustration, because DOTM is going to make them eat their own crap that they talked about the last 2.

That's not Topspin or Mirage...

That's Wheeljack, Wheeljackdies in the first encounter with Soundwave. It's later on when Soundwave takes over control of the Autobotsand Be-heads Miragefor no reason but by the request of Patrick Dempsy's character.

All the Wreckerssurvive.

You can tell it's 100% Wheeljack or "Que" by the Fender vent on the side of him, that's a Mercedes.

Wrong Wrecker, that was Leadfoot.

What I thinks happened is that Wheeljack will die in the same place Mirage died in the comic, being killed by Soundwave rather than nameless drones. Mirage will probably die like he did in the novel, having his head torn of by Starscream.
