Ironhide question.

Why shorten the smokestacks on Ironhide for "safety reasons", yet give him 4 long spring firing projectiles??? Leave his stacks the correct length. It's bad enough they did that with 20th/DVD Prime.

The missiles are that long because otherwise they are supposed to be a choking hazard. The shortstacks are so they are harder to break off, and so some kid doesn't poke his eye out.

Considering that the US is one of the few countries with such a law and the rest of the world doesn't seem to have that large a number of problems I often wonder if we've somehow gotten a monopoly on stupid children, or simply stupid politicians.

Neither. It's a product of people in the US blaming everyone else for the harm they cause themselves.

Hell, I'd have taken rubber stacks like the Leader Prime if it meant they were taller. I might custom fab them from extra model kit sprue I have laying around. Even have some chrome sprue. I did paint the current ones silver though, and it helped a bit.
