The Truck mode is much like the alternate mode on the original Battle Tanker. Really, the only difference is the new chestplate being put on the front hood. I like that they took advantage of the holes in the side of the Oil Tanker to use as a storage spot for Magnus’ blaster.
The Robot mode is fantastic, featuring a new head, chest, and shoulders from the original Battle Tanker version. The head also features two optional faces: A metallic one, and a clear one to represent the style of the original 2012 Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus that it’s upgrading.
Another nice addition is the piece that fits inside of the chest to give spacing and a longer look to the robot mode to better suit the new height with the armor. The previous rendition of Battle Tanker relied on friction to hold in place and keep the spacing rather than sitting flush....
