Masterpiece Acid Storm Question

I had read a long time ago that Takara was going to release a Masterpiece Acid Storm, but I never saw anything come of it. I was on the TF Wiki and it seemed to indicate that it had come out in 2013. Sooooooo, my question is, did Takara release a Masterpiece Acid Storm in the in the usual Takara Masterpiece packaging or is the Hasbro version (including packaging) exactly the same?

As far as I know the Hasbro(USA version) was released in Japan
