Am not in A Hurry for this figure at the moment as so far been told of accidents on the arm in which the arm breaks or small pieces popping off.
Maybe next month But in no hurry!

i put money on it.. that the ppl that are breaking theirs are forcing the transformation... and the bits popping off.. are going to happen. alot of his crap is held on with ball joints. so they do just pop off...

Oh my, I really want this figure but I've not read the stories of breaking. I'd really like to see what that's about.

to be honest if you broke it how they did on the firstpage, you wouldnt notice, its a tiny clip thats not even needed, i had to realy look for it on mine,
the is a little problem with a loose hip on mine's which im fixing with a bit of epoxy probably, its not effecting anything
i havent seen a gallery yet that gives his articulation a good enough showing

I was reinforcing my MP Megatrons feet tonight with clear nail polish and I snapped out his feet. Then I noticed that the actual hole in the foot is very very tight and it looks to be almost impossible to pop the joint back in.
I took a look at the underside and took out the 5 screws. I was able to get a xacto knife between the 2 pieces but it wasn't coming apart.
Does anyone have any idea how to get the foot pieces apart so I can get them back on MP Megatron?

Dammit.
I've had him a DAY. A freaking day, and his left arm hinge split, when I was trying to transform him for the second time. Nothing crazy.
If he stands there its ok, but if I have to move that hinge, it'll flex apart, get caught on that oval piece with the two screws and prevent it moving... And its all because the silver plastic is kinda soft, so the missing bit to accomodate the ratchet tab tore and went all the way through.
So careful with your Megs. Seems like Takara/Tomy went the opposite route, softer plastic as opposed to MP03's brittle plastic.
So yeah. Bummer. I'm trying to work out if I can fix it, Superglue won't hold, maybe araldite or epoxy, something that can withstand pulling.

Oh, that's what that was. I had no idea what that picture was supposed to be showing until you mentioned that.
I think I may still get a Megatron anyhow. I don't imagine any break is too impossible for a kitbasher to fix.

Gawd and Piranacon, you own Megs what do you think? Is he more fragile than he seems or are the people at TFW2005 rough on their toys?

he IS fragile.. BUT if you treat it more like a collectible and be gentle with him.. he is fine.. i personally love the thing.. wish they wouldnt have put all the stuff on ball joints.. just hate how easy they pop off..

i still chalk it up to respecting your purchase .. it seems to me alot of ppl muscle their toys. then they break . then said person complains and blames the companies for making inferior things...
this toy is fragile. as is screamer.. i dont think any MP figs will compare to the prime mold. it was the first. they went all out on it.. they learned that they cant do that. SO the do make a few cuts.. but seriously. seeing as how i bet almost anyone that owns a mp figure is an adult.. take care of your TOY!
just my opinion though.

yeah, I'm glad I preordered mine though because I have a feeling that they are going to run out soon.
Speaking of preordering did anyone order the new Revoltech Megatron?

I finally got Op last week, I never realized he was so tiny! He's cool though I love the articulation. I'd order the Megs to go with him, but after I bought MP Megs my wife told me no more toys until my birthday
Thankfully thats June 11th
