Looks like they super-sized him for some reason, so he should be more on par with TFC Blackbird height wise.

And Bruticus should be the same height as Hercules or even taller (initial estimates had him being 1/2 an inch shorter)


I am sooooo tempted to track down retail versions of Swindle and Brawl so I can pre-order this! Going to wait for news of the other version though, even if it is painful.

im really trying to weigh the pros and cons here between MBC and boosticus.

right off the bat, boosticus is coming out sooner, has version for every bruticus under the sun, and makes use of all the existing members W/O disassembly. theres something that bothers me about discarding the original onslaught altogether, crappy as he may be.

MBC on the other hand, is more awesome than life itself. in spite of my pro-boosticus rant above... i would probably drop that set in a heartbeat if MBC confirmed a takara and G2 version. PLEASE MBC! you dont even have to show me pictures. just tell me youll make them!

I'll let you know how I'm going with hunting down Vortex and Blast Off this month, cause if I end up just getting a full Bruticus again, i'll have an extra Swindle and Brawl. But man, getting the full five, even at a discount price, leaves me with Haslaught and I can't even customize him into anything.

No way MbC don't release them in those colors - they have to make money off repaints!

I did a very crude Illustrator paint job on Swindles new chest to see how it would look black, and, I actually like it! Painting the guns and Brawl's green foot parts was already something I new I'd be happy with, and with the painted chest looking alright, I pre-ordered this so I'd be guaranteed to get the Onslaught I wanted. I'll most likely have to tone down the purple a bit, but that can come last if needed.

Edit: After some sleep I went back to the drawing board and came up with these.

its nice of them to add that in... but id like my onslaught to match the other guys guys he goes with. why only make him in original production colors? that doesnt even seem smart from a business standpoint. releasing him in all 4 colors would ultimately help you sell more units overall wouldnt it?

And probably an easier buy for the consumers. Also, retailers don't have to worry about having an excess of one type over the other in stock. This was BRILLIANT! I don't think too many people would've been on board to buy multiple colored versions of Onslaught. The main release seems to fit well for most combination of limbs (except maybe the G2 camo version). Glad I already preordered this.

Adding to the chorus of "I'm OK with this," MBC Onslaught's colors are sufficiently muted to also work with the SDCC & Platinum Editions. A grey release would have been nice, but not really necessary for me, since the blue helps me see this as a Generations figure.

Oy. I also have the Takara versions. Now that this guy has been announced with the SDCC/PE add-on, I'm probably going to sell my shiny dudes.

I need a Takara version. I have every version of Bruticus, but that's the one I really care about.

It works pretty good because onslaught in grey sucks and never should have been conceived. But it still doesnt help me cause I only own the takara and G2 versions.
