Missing my Dad

My Dad passed away in February from pancreatic cancer. He was such a big part of my life. I just feel like there is a big hole in my heart now that he is gone. In November 2008, my Mom committed suicide. I am trying to be strong, but sometimes I feel like I can't go on.

Claiming Fox News has real journalists is like claiming Twilight has real vampires, it's just illogical.

Heavy stuff! Well, I don't really know what to say, except that you have my sympathies. And that you have the guts to speak out on a public forum.

My grandmother raised me from the age of 6 months until she died when I was 20. The anniversary of her death is July 21st, and around this time I also get depressed. It's been 11 years, and it used to be a lot worse. I know what you're feeling. Just know that time does heal and it will get better.
Try to be strong. Lean on friends and family if you can, sharing good times can get you through most of life's hard situations. If that's not possible, you still have Transformers.

my belated condolences. I lost my dad at 11 years old, I'm 44 now and lost my mom year before last. Well wishers will tell you that you will heal, and to some extent this is true. The loss will be with you always, almost as if you have an anchor tied to you. One good days, you'll hardly notice the weight; other days, it will be all that you can do just to muster the courage to lift your head and go on living. I don't mean that as a negative response; rather, as a realistic one. In my experience, it helps to remember your loved ones in a positive light when possible. All three of my daughters (18, 12, and 11)know their Grandfather's and Grandmother's favorite foods, music, tv shows. His favorite hobbies, sayings, teachings and quirks. By teaching them these seemingly unimportant details of the man they never knew (and the woman they did), I keep their spirits alive, and they feel a connection to my parents...and I get to carry my anchor a little easier, if only for the day. May God Bless You.

...back in my day, you had one alt-mode. ONE! Articulation? why, if you had enough articulation to transform, you had plenty. And if you wanted more articulation, you know what you did about it? NOTHING. You transformed, stood there with your faceplate closed, and your optics sharp, just like everybody else who didn't have ball-jointed this, and swivel-jointed that. And when your were told to, you transformed and rolled out! ...And another thing...

You responded, trust me, that's all it takes.
