Movie Legends Starscream (review + pics)

Postby megatroptimus » Tue May 15, 2007 11:39 pm

JET MODE

Maybe not super movie accurate, but still pretty sleek. Better than FAB Starscream.

TRANSFORMATION

Very simple. Fold the cockpit on top of the jet, rotate the legs outward at the hip, flip down horizontal fins and position the arms. You're done!

ROBOT MODE

Same basic Starscream shape as the Voyager, similar detailing as well (all molded UNDER the jet). This one has poseable arms and real hands... with 4 fingers and 2 thumbs each! I wonder why? Unfortunately, he's hard to balance, so poseability is limited. Still a pretty fun little toy.

I like this alot better than the other Starscream figures I've seen for the movie. Think I might get it if I run across it at Walgreens.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

I think he looks okay, I'll probably pick up all the Legends, I always had a soft spot for those toys...

My only complaint is how small SS and Megatron are next to Barricade... if anything, shouldn't it be the other way around, Barricade looks enormous next to those two!

you guys really should not be comparing these to happy meals. it shows you cannot distinguish from a $4 toy and a $0.25 toy. it is like saying masterpiece starscream is an armada figure.

and i want barricade pictures mister

Who ever had the idea to put his arms all the way at the end of his wings in bot mode should be shot!

Bring them into the body at normal proportions and this would look better all the way around.

This goes for all movie Screamers.

I posted another thread for Meg and Prime but somehow it's been completely ignored since I first posted it a few weeks ago.

These things look more like mini-cons or happy meal toys than legends figures. Not too impressed, but I guess it could be worse...

I think you completely forgot what Cybertron LOCs were because the level of engineering and detailing is exactly the same for Movie Legends.

Its a shame that he is so hideous in robot mode, as the alt mode still isnt done all that bad. Detailing is very good for such a small figure. It is too bad that LOC Tundercracker/Jetfire has this thing beaten every which way to Sunday.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.
