Are they any good? I'm looking for a decent set of PCC's and I like the look of the set, but they're PCC's... You never know.

Not a fan of the torso, nothing really pegs in place.

The drones are really nice though!

I don't have him, but he seems decent. I must however warn you that he has a flaw in the thigh swivels: they crack under too much stress.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

As I pointed out in the PCC thread, he does make a nice Minitaur, and you can use the drones with other commanders. (They look great on Smolder, for example!)

I'm stil a bit torn here. I really like the PCC 2-packs... But without some drones it's just not quite what it should be. I recently got Grimstone and his buddies, but the dino's don't mix very well with the vehicles.

Except for the combo with Heavytread. A tank wielding dinosaurs as weapons is almost too awesome.

So you would have to get some 5 packs for assorted drones..?

I'd say go for Mudslinger if you find him cheap. It's ok overall, and the drones are definitely nice. (My personal preference is still Crankcase, though. With some other drones.)

I've got Crankcase, I got that set as soon as I saw it. Great set indeed.

But the other sets, aside from Grimstone, all seem flawed in some way. I'm very careful in buying PCC's.

I picked one up recently and I must say, the ugly little fellow has grown on me. Individual taste and all...

Well then I confirm the suggestion of picking him up for cheap. Even if you don't care about the "suggested" combiner, you can use the drones on others.
(I keep repeating myself, don't I?)

I felt the same way about Over-run once I had him in hand, if I must be honest. The drones, yes (especially to obtain that Almost-Menasor look, with some from DoubleClutz, on Crankcase). The torso.. hm.

There's a Bombshock auction here, if you're interested. And a Mudslinger one here.

I like the Bombshock drones. Maybe the constructicon drones will work too... I really want that G1 Devy coloured United one... But $60 is madness for PCC
