Profile:

Imagine a being with no capacity for remorse, warmth, or even compassion - a being for which friendship and basic camaraderie were totally alien concept that suggested only weakness and folly. Such a being would be more monster than mechanoid, which is an accurate description of Scourge. He is a singularly merciless and unstoppable hunter and killer. Scourge's fearsome disposition and physical powers make him a virtual god among the Transformers, which should be enough to frighten anyone. But perhaps the most terrifying thing about him is that he represents only the smallest fraction of the strength and evil of the Decepticon Empire.

Scourge is the first of a new breed of Decepticon envisioned by Megatron: a prototype tracker/terminator capable of giving the far more numerous Seekers a run for their energon, and utterly loyal (some might say fanatical) in preserving Megatron and, by extension, the Decepticon Empire. Some projections indicate that the potential of "The Sweeps" is sufficient to make the Seeker design obsolete, especially if Scourge's vision to make his Sweeps a pack of tracker/terminators under his own command becomes a reality. Only time will tell, but Scourge intends on testing those projections to their utmost and see the results for himself. Needless to say, this intention makes the Seekers very nervous.

Abilities: Scourge is highly intelligent. His physical strength and endurance are exceeded only by the likes of Megatron. His scanning equipment is powerful enough to trace someone or something from one end of the galaxy to the other based on the smallest traces. In sweep-craft mode, he is armed with disintegrator cannons that break down the molecular bonds of targets, dissipating them. In robot mode, he is armed with a heat laser that can turn most armor into slag, as well as a variety of fusion and incendiary explosive devices.

Weaknesses: Scourge exhibits no physical weaknesses. His only failing point is his arrogance.

Sample:

[Used from another Transformers RP]

Pax heard the reply from Commander Zeta, knowing that the more experienced leader knew what he was talking about. And while the group of Autobots currently held the position solidly, there was an increasing danger as their presence caused more enemies to be drawn to their higher state of resistance. Hopefully the group would be able to move on soon enough, shifting the battlefront to keep the Sharkticons guessing... but, until then, Pax would hold the line alongside Magnus and his fellow Autobots.

From all around, there was a shift in the ship they were on.

"Uh, oh..." Pax muttered, looking up, frowning as his optics narrowed. "Magnus... I think we're in trouble."

The craft began to rotate through the air, lazily losing its sense of control, beginning an increased fall. The enemy formation would be decimated, completely crushed by the hulking metal projectile; yet, given their position in the fray, the Autobots would also take causalities. Unless they moved. Now.

"Fall back, retreat to grid seven-three-gamma," Pax called, hitting one of his soldiers on the back as he tried to get their attention. "The ship is coming down. Brace for impact!"

Firing wildly into the enemy forces rapidly approaching, the Autobot knew it would be a close call. Given the group were a trained unit, and knew when to listen to orders and how to obey them in order to survive, the garrison began to fall back. They abandoned the soon-to-be doomed platform, the large ship drawing ever closer as the inevitable impact loomed...

In his processors, Pax went over the calculations he had made. He had designated a grid section based on his knowledge of the potential for the ship to explode under crashing parameters - unless the core went off with the impact, the group of Autobots should be out of the majority of the blast radius. But, until the ship landed, the young commander wouldn't truly know - he just had to hope.

Several moments later, the impact occurred. The ground was struck, a crash of thunder, fire and metal gouging a trail in the surface of the city. Enemies, allies and numerous structures were decimated, completely destroyed, as the ship began to break apart at the seams, sending a deadly hail of debris and flames as it continued to rip a trail of destruction. For hundreds of yards, the heavy ship slid, like a battering ram through paper, tearing into everything and anything that was along its path. The enemy had taken the brunt of the impact, with Pax not wanting to even think about the odds for some of the Autobots who hadn't had time to move out of the way.

Pax returned to his robot form, having reached the fallback point, looking back at the scene. It was pure chaos...

"Get Commander Zeta on the communicator," Pax shouted to this tech officer. "Find out their situation. The ship hasn't exploded, but if they're in there, they don't have much time before something explodes and destroys everything in the immediate area."

Then Pax looked about for his brother.

"Magnus, are you alright?" He asked, before looking to his soldiers. "Did we lose anyone? Report ranks."

Motto: "If you can't say anything nice, go join the Decepticons."
Weapon: Astro Blaster
I honestly don't think Tracks is as vain when it comes to battling the Decepticons as the description and weakness makes him seem, but if I changed it to that, he wouldn't have a listable weakness. He can most definitely be defeated though. See episodes Make Tracks, Prime Target, and Auto Bop as reference.

Tracks

Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Warrior
Alt. mode: Dark blue Chevrolet Corvette
Weapons: Black Light Beam Gun
Height: 26 ft/ 7.93m
Quote: “Looking good is what life's all about."

Strength: 6
Intelligence: 6
Dexterity: 7
Speed: 7
Endurance: 8
Courage: 6
Firepower: 8
Accuracy: 7
Melee: 6
Tech Skill: 8
Charisma: 6

Profile: "Lousy Earth-lover," is one of the nicer epithets used by some of Tracks' comrades to describe his behavior. After all, he makes no secret of the fact that he prefers the sleek and classy Earth form given to him by the Ark over his original robot form. If the war didn't require him to sometimes revert to his Autobot form, Tracks might stay a car all the time. He attributes his fellow Autobots' criticism to jealousy on their part- they don't look as good as he does in vehicular form, he reasons. But their displeasure stems from a more serious consideration. They feel the struggle against the Decepticons should be Tracks' prime concern, not his own looks. Vanity can blind anybody to the truth, even a robot. When he isn't focused on himself, Tracks can be very observant. Unfortunately, he enjoys turning that attention to detail on himself.

Abilities: In vehicular mode, Tracks can reach speeds of 280 mph on the ground. He can also sprout wings from under his rear fenders, which allow him to fly at sub-sonic speeds, and he can adapt a launcher to his hood that fires two heat-seeking incendiary missiles up to 60 miles. The missiles can be used in robot mode also, along with his black beam gun, which shoots a beam of black light that adheres for several minutes, effectively blinding anyone hit by it.

Tracks' holomatter avatar is a brunette girl with brown eyes and olive skin. She is wearing a white newsboy cap, a red Oxford shirt with the collar popped, a navy, cotton blazer with the collar also popped, dark rinse high rise boot cut blue jeans and white knee-high go go boots. ( the jeans are not tucked into the boots, so you wouldn't necessarily see they are knee high.)

Weaknesses: Tracks' vanity is his greatest foe. His combat abilities are impaired by his concern over marring his appearance. He often remains in his more vulnerable vehicular mode in conflict situations when wisdom dictates he revert to his robot mode.

Sample post-  It was a clear, crisp day in Detroit, Michigan when the Autobot, Tracks, drove down the highway toward downtown. He was supposed to be monitoring Decepticon activity, but the allure of the city had caught him up in all the wonderous activity.
Pulling up in front of an auto shop on the skirts of downtown, Tracks started scanning the window display for fashionable window wipers.

Kzzzzt! Tracks' com link crackled to life.

"Tracks, status update. Has there been any Decepticon activity?" Optimus Prime's voice   barely registered in Tracks' mind.

"None that I can see." Tracks said, staring intently at the store window. Half price on air freshers! Interesting.

"Well, be on high alert just in case."

"Alright." Like the silver hubcaps. Very refined.

"Make sure you report in every cycle."

"Hmm."

"Are you listening to me Tracks?" Optimus' voice pulled Tracks back to the present.

"What?"

Optimus sighed. "Tracks, you need to focus on your current mission. Try to keep your attention on stopping the Decepticons, and not the city's attractions."

"Well I would if there were any Decepticons in the area." Tracks replied indignantly.

"Just stay on high alert just in case they come around. Optimus Prime out."

After Optimus signed off, Tracks focused his attention back on the display. After all, there weren't any Decepticons in the area. And even if there were, his warning sensors would warn him before any of them could get too close.

"Well well well. What do we have here? An Autobot all by himself? What's wrong? Some of those big bad Decepticons scare you?"

Drat.

Tracks turned to see Dirge, Ramjet, and Thrust standing behind him grinning like they had just found the perfect slab of steak. This was bad. As fast as he could, Tracks took off. This surprised the  Decepticons, but they quickly recovered, transforming and chasing after him in a matter of nanoklicks.

Tracks contacted the Autobot base, but, unfortunately, every one was out on patrol. He left a message with Telatran 1 to relay to the Autobots when they got back.

Now how do I keep from getting slagged until then? Tracks skidded as he rounded a corner into an alleyway. The Decepticons were hot on his tail, firing all the way. A lucky shot from Dirge hit Tracks right in the rear window.  Tracks screamed in agony at the shooting pain, but he kept driving.

Transforming, Tracks ran into a small narrow alley off the larger one they had been in before. Panting and injured, Tracks ran as fast as his servos could carry him untill...

"Well this is quite a predicament." Tracks gasped the biggest understatement of the world.

"Oh poor Tracks. It looks like you've hit a dead end," Ramjet said mockingly, grinning like a madman, "Ah well! Say goodbye!" The Decepticons raised their guns. Tracks shut his eyes, gritted his teeth, and turned his head, preparing to be slagged. There was a moment of silence and tension.

Zap! Tracks opened his eyes. Ramjet was on the ground and Optimus Prime, Bumblebee,  Sunstreaker, and Ratchet were standing behind him, guns at the ready.

"Step away from the Autobot," Optimus Prime boomed.

Dirge and Thrust stared back at him, stunned. Then they grabbed Ramjet and flew off.
Tracks let out a breath. Thank the All Spark!

"Well, you look a mess!" Sunstreaker stated the obvious.

As Bumblebee and Ratchet helped Tracks transform, Tracks addressed Optimus sheepishly.

"I'm sorry Optimus. This never would have happened if I had been paying more attention to my mission."

"That's not important now. The important thing is getting you back to base."

As the orbital bounce began, Tracks thought about how lucky he was to have Optimus Prime as a leader. His last thought before teleporting was that he was sure glad he wasn't a Decepticon coming back to Megatron to tell him they had let an Autobot escape his grasp.

Let's start with lowering his strength and speed back down to 8. His endurance needs to come down to 7, his courage should 8, firepower is supposed to be 8. I'm a bit concerned about the sample post. It's very good, don't get me wrong, but Scourge is not mentioned or even used in any of it. In writing a sample post for the RPG we like to see some sort of depth with the character being applied for, but that doesn't mean other characters can't be used in it, we just wan't the applied character to be in the spot light.

Re-write the sample and focus on Scourge. I want to see how well you'll handle him.

Let's go through his stats: his dexterity should be 8, accuracy 8, melee 7, tech skill 6 and charisma 5.

I enjoyed the sample, gave me a laugh at a few points. I just wanted to remind you, however that in the RPG both the 'Bots and 'Cons are under infiltration. The 'Bots also utilize holomater avatars.

Add a description of his avatar and re-post the whole application.

Sample:

The wastes beyond Iacon were like a metallic jungle, filled with spanning fields of organic metal, a literal maze of intricate paths and canyons. It was a place that bots disappeared in, whether purposefully or otherwise. One could escape into the sprawling metal forest, remaining hidden from all but the most honed trackers; and in this instance, such a trained and skilled pair of optics were on the hunt, closing rapidly with prey so eagerly sought.

In his sweep-craft form, Scourge hovered mere feet from the floor of one of the many canyons of the area. His scanning equipment was created solely for the purpose of finding those who didn't want to be found. From the brief confrontation between the sweeps leader and the individual bot in question, damage had been dealt to the hunted, resulting in a steady leak of energon into the environment. It was through this means, having calibrated his sensory nodes to detect energon coagulation, that Scourge was able to follow his target with little-to-no effort.

The tracker had found considerably harder prey with less, after all.

Yet, the trail soon slowed, causing the pursuing Decepticon to likewise ease up on speed. Walking into an ambush wasn't a tactical decision best formulated for surviving a battle. So instead Scourge transformed, reverting to his robot form, and brought his heat laser to bear - the subtle sounds of movement from ahead caused the tracker's heightened audio receptors to focus.

"I know you're there," Scourge said, his voice filling the area with a deathly sounding echo. His attention was on the small outcropping along the path, just large enough for a fleeing bot to hide behind. "I can hear your data processors whirring from here..."

Narrowing his optics, Scourge walked forward, his lip curling into a snarl. The too-often cowardice of his prey annoyed him, filling the tracker with a constant source of disappointment in most of his hunts, when his prey refused to even confront the hunter. Even now, the bot behind the outcropping fidgeted, his feet scrapping the metal ground beneath him, confirming Scourge's knowledge of his location.

"Last chance," Scourge muttered, closing with the hiding place rapidly, heat laser aimed forward and prepared to blast the insolent fool to slag. Nothing happened. "Very well..."

Scourge jumped forward, bounding over the outcropping. The bot crouched behind it jumped away, rolling under and out of his assailant's reach. The bot transformed, grimacing as the large cut on his leg protested against the change. Within moments he was a racing car, wheels spinning as he hit the ground - but before he could gain momentum, Scourge was upon the car, lifting the considerably smaller bot with his impressive strength.

"No, please!" The car shouted, transforming to attempt to pry himself from the hunter's grasp. "I'll give you anything, just let me go!"

"It's too late for that now," Scourge said, smirking as he watched the other bot try in vain to escape. "When Lord Megatron demands loyalty, there is but one choice... and you made the wrong one."

With a super-heated blast from his laser, Scourge found amusement in the scream of pain and terror that filled the canyon, as the bot was destroyed; he would never have the opportunity to defy Megatron again, his mistake teaching others who thought to escape the Decepticon leader's grasp...

Because none escaped Scourge.

Scourge is the first of a new breed of Decepticon envisioned by Megatron: a prototype tracker/terminator meant to work alongside the Seekers as the main offensive weapon of the Decepticons, both complementing each other rather than replacing. Unlike the Seekers whom share their loyalties between Megatron, Starscream and number of other high profile Decepticons, the Sweeps were designed to be utterly loyal (some might say fanatical) in preserving Megatron and, by extension, the Decepticon Empire. With Ember being away for few days, I'll just go through this. Profile is from previous incarnation of the RPG where Scourge's stats were buffed from originals given requirements from story he was involved in back then but most of it fits the current game too. I will take some liberties crafting him a stat table given how various Scourges' have different stats. As he shares no bind with Unicron in our setting, he cannot reach his highest potential. Anyhow, I'll edit the changes directly into the quoted profile in this post.

Sample wise, given I have seen your work before in at least two games, I have no problem approving this application. Scourge is currently on Nebulos, have fun. ;)

I'm glad you liked my story. I was a little worried about using too much dialogue. Since I'm a girl, Tracks' holomatter avatar is a girl. Will that cause any problems?

Tracks

Allegiance: Autobots
Function: Warrior
Alt. mode: Dark blue Chevrolet Corvette

Height: 26 ft/ 7.93m

Charisma: 5

"What?

There's no problem with Track's holomatter avatar being a girl and since you seem to have done the changes Ember requested - your application is approved.

"What?

Making sure there were no humans around to bear witness, Tracks transformed and ran into a small narrow alley off the larger one they had been in before.

There's no problem with Track's holomatter avatar being a girl and since you seem to have done the changes Ember requested - your application is approved.

Great! Just one question. Uh... How and where do I start?

I've crashed so many times, I'm surprised I'm not chuck
Some people may feel real sorry for me

Deltabot, you can start posting with Tracks in this thread. That's where he was last seen I think. Given he has not been given any assignments of late - my guess is that he has been doing Tracks-like things like waxing and polishing his armor. Or he could be eavesdropping on the meeting Prowl is having with the Autobots who have returned from Cybertron. #-o

Weapon: Chomping Rotor Blades
Name: Wildrider
Allegiance: Decepticon
Sup-group: Stunticons
Function: Terrorist
Alt. mode: Ferrari 458 Italia
Weapons: Scattershot Gun, Double-Barreled Plasma Cannon
Special Abilities: Like all Stunticons, Wildrider possesses an energy field that makes him extremely resistant to physical damage and allows the reckless driving the Stunticons are famous for.
Height: 26 ft / 7.93 m

Speed: 8
Endurance: 6
Courage: 8
Firepower: 7
Accuracy: 6
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 5
Charisma: 5
Rank: 5

Profile: Anyone who has seen Wildrider on the roadway and managed to survive later harbours no doubt about how the Decepticon earned his name. With endless malicious energy, Wildrider destroys property and lives with the same grating cackle and careless, erratic manner. His insane antics have been so effective at spreading fear and terror that Wildrider's superiors have taken notice, congratulating him on his technique. These accolades are lost on Wildrider, who responds only with a quizzical look and terrifying laugh—he knows he's not following any plan; he really just is that crazy. Wildrider can't stand quiet, so his actions are all geared towards making the loudest ruckus possible. To torment him, Motormaster sometimes orders the other Stunticons to be utterly quiet; the devilish leader then laughs about Wildrider's frantic reaction.

Abilities: Subject possesses above-average strength and intelligence. He is very manoeuvrable in vehicle mode and can reach a top speed of 250 mph. He can also deploy a trunk-mounted double-barrelled plasma cannon in this mode. As a robot, he wields a scattershot gun that fires an erratic flurry of powerful laser beams at a range of ¼ mile. The beams' firing pattern fills 50 square feet and can destroy a building in a fraction of a breem.

Weaknesses: Subject's driving makes him prone to damage such as blow-outs, which require maintenance. His irrational fear of quiet can make him nervous and ineffective as a warrior. Subject's need to create noise makes it impossible for him to follow through on plans requiring secrecy.

Sample Post:

Defeated and resting on the ground with his knee joints embedded in the soft earth, it wasn't any wonder why Onslaught resolved to pass Wildrider by, regarding him little more than a pitiful heap of scrap preparing to rust away on an exotic world. Indeed, he had frequently expressed his wide range of opinions of the Combaticon commander and his unit, either publicly or within the confines of his friendship with his team-mates—omitting Motormaster of course. But what of it?

He shifted around in the soil, assessing his state. Thankfully Onslaught was nowhere in sight to witness just how ridiculous he looked, arms and legs wiggling about as if he were a species of cyber-insect struggling to get upright.

Perhaps he had revealed a little too much about the Combaticons when they entered their conversations? No, that couldn't have been the case. Confirmation would have been received in the form of Onslaught's feet pressing down firmly onto Wildrider's back-plates as he marched by, “oblivious” to the Stunticon's presence.

With everything appearing to be in order, he lifted himself from the soil, emitting a protracted groan while carrying out the movement. Multiple illuminations painting areas of the night sky with vivid yellows and oranges swarmed his optics, and the chorus of battle pierced his audio modules. The remaining fatigue still lingering in his systems was evicted by excitement, pure and thriving. He felt silly for forgetting where he was for a moment, but whatever. He had places to be, Autobots to crush.

Emanating his usual malicious energy, Wildrider began jogging towards a series of explosions, the resulting smoke looming above. The activity there promised a fight, and he wanted nothing more than to cause as much mayhem as possible.

Function: Aerospace Warrior
Alt. Mode: F-22 Raptor
Weapons:
• 2 Cluster Bombs (Alt.)
• Extremely powerful Electromagnetic waves (Alt. + Robot)
• 2 Null Rays (Alt. + Robot)
Special Abilities:
• Fusion Reactor
• Powerful Electromagnetic waves
Height: 31ft / 9.5m.

Dexterity: 7
Speed: 9

Courage: 8

Accuracy: 6
Melee: 7
Tech Skill: 7
Charisma: 6
Rank: 5

Profile: Created by a freak accident as Starscream's clone, Sunstorm is a Seeker that no one really wants to be around. Partially for his random babbling at times, and his Fusion Reactor unleashes Electromagnetic energy at an uncontrolable rate, melting steel siding of buildings at a short distance around him, and causing malfunctions in team mates as well as enemies. Unless he is outfitted with adequate shielding, he is rarely put in unit missions. Being powerful and unlike others, Sunstorm secretly thinks himself as a supernatural being, much to anyone who hears his opinion's irritation.

Abilities: Being Starscream's "brother", he is also one of the fastest flyers of the Decepticons, Mach 5 being nothing more but a cruising speed for him. He can climb to sub-orbital altitudes of 52 miles and nose-dive down to near ground level in mere minutes. This makes him particularly effective in surprise attacks and hit-and-run actions. Like his "brother", he can shoot cluster bombs a distance of 40 miles, each of which can level an area 10,000 feet square. Being a Seeker, he owns a null-ray rifle can interrupt the flow of electricity in any circuitry it hits for periods of up to two minutes, effectively preventing the operation of many machines dependent on those circuits during that period. But his Fusion Reactor is the grandest and the most powerful of his arsenal. While being disruptive and hazardous, it can be a major weapon when Sunstorm can gain control over it, launching a massive Electromagnetic Wave, melting armor, and causing malfunctions, and, depending on the wave, launching enemies backward.

Weaknesses: Sunstorm is his own worst enemy, his Fusion Reactor constantly changes it's frequencies, so Sunstorm can't always keep in control over it as a weapon.

Sample Post:

Thantos - Personal Quarters

Sunstorm sat in a chair at the back of the room, the walls mildly melted away around him, and two places where foot-shaped holes are prominent on the floor, his chair was the fifth one this week, and he was already two days into the week. His room's furniture was all nearly melted and scorched beyond repair. They would be replaced, but nice things don't stay nice around Sunstorm for long.

His Reactor had been disrupting him and going off without command, he had struggled to keep control, however, he was nearing the end of his control. It was nearing the time to let loose again.

He breath was sharp shuddering inhales, as almost a sob, but more painful. He looked down to his hands, they were glowing. It was nearly time to release.

He began to clanch his fists and they grew brighter. His optics glowed a bright orange, sparks flew from his hands and then the room lit up with an orange blaze, smelting the damaged wall even more, the floor began to bubble around his feet, his mouth opened to let out a horrific scream of pain and agony, and as soon as it began, it stopped. His body fell limp with exhuastion, the room fell dim as the light had shattered during his episode.

He sat up and shook his head to reorient himself with his surroundings. He stood up, stumbled for a second, then finally strode out of the room, feeling much better.

Allegiance: Decepticon

Firepower: 06
Accuracy: 06
Melee: 07

Profile: A rubble-strewn wasteland is Bonecrusher's idea of a beautiful landscape. Rare is the edifice that he feels is better off left standing. For him, demolition is not merely a job - it is a performance. He loves to show off for his comrades. And Megatron realizes that the fear and terror sowed by this Constructicon's wild ways are bonus by-products that can only help the Decepticon conquest of Earth's resources. Bonecrusher's attitude about the world around him can best be summed up by his personal credo: "Everything is dust - or it will be when I get through with it!"

Abilities: In vehicular mode, Bonecrusher can exert a force of over 800,000 pounds per square inch at a speed of 30 mph, enough to knock down all but the most heavily reinforced structures. His thick titanium-steel hide makes him virtually invulnerable to anything that might collapse upon him as a result of one of his charges. He can use a short-range concussion bomb launcher to aid his demolitions. In robot mode he carries a laser pistol.

Weaknesses: Bonecrusher's eagerness to wreak destruction if let unchecked, often results in the loss of structures that had potential value for the Decepticons. Although he is rarely harmed by the collapse of a building on him, he is sometimes buried and finds it difficult to free himself at those times.

Sample-Post:

Bottom of the Sea of Japan

Bonecrusher decided that through this rather flat strait, that he should transform and power through the soft seafloor. The ground tumbled and crunched around him as his treads pushed the large shovel through the soft ground. Everything around him was soft... So fragile... So destructible! He wanted to demolish everything right now, he really needed an outlet.

Lights barely showing anything a few feet in front of him, Bonecrusher powered onward until he found a large structure on the ground, perched between two rock faces. It seemed to be a sunken ship, left derelict for years. Even from the time of the Combaticon's vehicular modes... Either way, it was in the way and it needed to be removed.

>>Slag. Looks like something is in our way, Scavenger! I'll take care of it... Hehe.<< Bonecrusher stated with a smirk etched on his faceplate.

He transformed and aimed his Concussion-Bomb Launcher in one hand and he beat out a hole with his massive strength with the other hand. He shoved the barrel of the Launcher in the hole he had created previously and fired several Concussion-Bombs into the opening and took a step back.

A second later, the ship's center exploded, sending dust and rusted steel floating about. He caught a floating piece of metal and held it in his hand for a second, then crushing it with a single clench of his fist as a human would an empty can of soda. He cast it off behind him as he looked over to the ship. It had collapsed in on itself as the interior was practically rusted away entirely. All it needed was a little push...

If he could do this to this human ship, imagine what he could do with Devastator!

I am going to let you try Bonecrusher out. The sample is solid enough. However, you can't use it as it is. Scrapper forbid use of explosives from Bonecrusher earlier so he wouldn't catch any unnecessary attention. + Last time I posted with him Bonecrusher was wondering why Scavenger was transforming back and forth in corrosive environment - so he might not be that keen to change modes underwater. ;)

Profile: Since before the war began, Sludge has been a shy, gentle giant of a mech. It was probably the main reason why he never entered the underground gladiatorial arena with the likes of Megatron and Grimlock. Sludge could’ve competed as a gladiator if he had wanted to. Most others thought he should have considering his sheer size and strength. However, it just wasn’t his thing. Sludge wanted to live a quiet life rather then fight other Transformers in pointless contests of violence.

Of course, Sludge’s peaceful existence was shattered once Megatron rose to power and the war began. He joined the Autobots because he disliked the brutality of the Decepticons. His size and strength came in handy when fighting Megatron’s forces. He became the epitome of a shock trooper, making his presence known loud and clear before attacking an enemy with all of his might. The shy, gentle side of Sludge began to disappear more and more as time passed and was replaced with a terrifying force of destruction when provoked. His strength combined with his endurance made him almost unstoppable once he set his mind to something.

As the war raged on with no end in sight, Sludge came to believe that only the strongest should lead and not necessarily the smartest. Thus far, he hadn’t considered any of the Primes he’d fought under to be up to par and thus he grew to dislike authority. He felt that the Autobot leadership was too weak to defeat the Decepticons, but he followed them anyway because he strongly believed in the Autobot cause. It wasn’t until Sludge was approached by Grimlock, that he had finally found a worthy leader with the strength needed to get the job done.

And so Sludge was recruited into the unit that would be called the Dinobots. They didn’t follow the rules like regular Autobots did, and that suited Sludge just fine. As a result, they were able to achieve great victories on the battlefield. In fact, their record was near perfect if it wasn’t for one glaring exception. The Decepticon known as Shockwave had humiliated the Dinobots by destroying their reserve of energon and leaving them with nasty burns.

As a result, the Dinobots sought revenge and followed Shockwave to a planet called Earth, where the Decepticon was conducting experiments. In order to protect themselves from the high energon levels, the Dinobots each picked an Earth creature alt mode so they would be surrounded by a protective covering of synthetic flesh. From the fossil record, Sludge chose an Apatosaurus for it’s similar size to himself and it’s brute strength.

Once on the Earth’s surface, the Dinobots quickly attacked Shockwave but were soon beaten when their flesh coverings were burnt away. The intense energon radiation swiftly overtook Sludge’s systems and he fell into stasis lock. He did not know what had transpired afterwards, only that thousands of years would pass before he and the other Dinobots were discovered by humans and quickly taken to an underground bunker called Area 51. This is where Sludge’s inert form has laid in stasis until now.

Sludge has never been considered to be the smartest of the Autobots nor the fastest. It’s his strength and endurance that he’s mostly known for. He is the largest of the Dinobots but is second strongest only to Grimlock. He doesn’t say much, which reinforces others’ belief that he is stupid. And while he’s no rocket scientist, he’s not an imbecile, either.

Sludge’s gentle side still shows through from time to time when he’s not fighting Decepticons, but not as often as it used to. Deep down, Sludge longs for the day that the war will finally end. Then he’ll be able to let his true self show through the rugged exterior that his Dinobot comrades have only ever known.

Abilities: Sludge’s greatest asset is his unrelenting strength and endurance. He is capable of easily knocking down a bridge or building with a single blow. When in his Apatosaurus alt mode, Sludge is able to shake the ground violently by stomping his feet, causing serious damage to the surrounding area. He is also adept for fighting in water, swamplands, jungle areas and other sludge-like environments. This ability is very useful in thwarting the Decepticons when they attempt to use such landscapes to their advantage. Additionally, his thick armored plating is strong enough to withstand most enemy blasts.

Furthermore, Sludge carries a laser rifle and an energo sword in robot mode. The rifle is capable of firing several rounds per astrosecond, while the sword allows Sludge to cut down his enemies in close quarters combat.

Weaknesses: Sludge’s greatest weakness is his belief that the strongest should always lead and not the smartest. His huge size causes him to be slow moving and not very agile, especially in Apatosaurus mode. As a result of his low speed, Sludge has a tendency to fall victim to the very calamities and destruction that he creates because he can’t get out of the way in time. Also, more often than not, Sludge can be too overconfident in his armored plating and believes that he is invincible. This can lead him to attack a more powerful Decepticon that is capable of penetrating his thick hide and causing serious damage to the Dinobot.

Mess Hall

Since none of the chairs were big enough for him, Sludge simply stood and watched as the other mechs talked, not having anything of importance to say. It was just as well, as the large mech never cared much for meetings or conferences. Though he agreed with Snarl about the bad taste of the energon substitute, he simply shrugged and gulped down his drink. Energy was energy, whether it tasted bad or not.

He payed little attention of what was being said until Grimlock spoke up- the only Autobot Sludge felt was capable of leading the Autobots. Of course he agreed with most of what the Dinobot commander had to say, though he couldn't understand why Grimlock would agree to just be "military leader". Whatever Grimlock's reasons were, Sludge was sure he was right. He was the strongest, after all.

Sludge was quickly moved to anger as he heard Prowl reject Grimlock's plan. That anger was soon motivated by Snarl's sudden outburst, causing Sludge to slam his glass to the floor, shattering it to a thousand pieces.

"Me, Sludge, think strongest should lead!" the large dinobot bellowed, "Grimlock is strongest, Grimlock should lead!"

Sludge then stomped on an empty chair next to him, easily crushing it. A grin grew on Sludge's face as he thought of all the enemies he would do that to.

"Me Sludge want to crush Decepticons! Me Sludge say Grimlock should lead!"

Weapon: Automatic Acid-Pellet Gun
Name: Slingshot
Faction: Autobots
Subgroup: Aerialbots
Function: Ground Troop Support and Aerial Superiority Fighter
Alternative Form: F-35B Short and Vertical Take Off Variant
Weapons: Neutron Rifle in Robot form, Twin Mortar Cannons in Jet form
Height: 30ft - 9.16m
Quote: “I’m even better than I think I am.”

Courage: 8

Accuracy: 9
Melee: 6
Technical Skills: 9
Charisma: 3
Rank: 5

Abilities: One of the most agile fighters in the Autobot Air Force. He can reach speeds of Mach 2. He can hit a target no bigger than a micro screw at nearly 3 Astro Kilometers. Uses two forms of weaponry, the Neutron Rifle in his robot form and the Twin Mortar Cannon in Aircraft form. His sensors are capable of tracking several dozen targets at once while his weapons lock in for the kill. Future member of Superion
Profile: If there was an award for self aggrandizement, Slingshot would be its annual recipient. An incessant braggart, this agile Autobot is not above taking the credit for the actions of others. He can score a grazing hit upon the enemy and claim it as a glorious kill, and likewise if he is unsuccessful the blame falls at the feet of other mechanisms. He stands alone most of the time with his tales of false glory intermixed with brief snippets of truth, just to give the audience a brief feel of authenticity.
That is not to say that he is a consummate liar. Slingshot is a hard working Autobot, loyal to a fault to the cause. He uses his bravado as a cloak to hide all of the deficiencies. Inwardly he is insecure about all of the actions he takes on the battlefield. If he fails in his assignments, he knows his friends or at least comrades will suffer even stiffer losses. That sort of pressure never leaves his processor as he takes to the sky.
Slingshot is the Aerialbot’s sharpshooter, the best shot in the air ranks of the Autobot corps, if he does say so himself. It is said he can hit the wire off a micro screw at nearly two astro klicks out. He is incredibly agile while in fighter mode, lending to his functions as the Aerialbot’s ground support and air superiority specialist.
Personally he cannot see why Optimus Prime gave command of the squadron to Silverbolt, and tends to resent the commander for his cowardice while in the air. He is abrasive and tends to rub everyone, including his wingmechs the wrong way. But even still, most Autobots would rather have him in the air providing cover than most any other flier.
Weaknesses: Slingshot is the weakest of the Aerialbots. His armor is thin along the wing struts. He is something of a reckless fighter in the sky, and tends to get into the thick of combat and in over his afterburner. While his skills are considerable to handle such odds, it is during these times where self doubts creep in and begin to hinder his performance. His abrasive personality and continual bragging does not lend himself to making friends, and tends to alienate allies.

There is loads wrong with this dude's setup currently, I'm putting it here as a first round as its late and ill revisit it once you guys have had a look. I really need to learn how to edit these back lol.

Psychout

Allegiance: Decepticons.
Function: Psychological Warfare Expert/Sniper
Alt. mode: USB-stlye Datastick (Formerly a cassette)
Weapons: Depleted uranium sniper rifle. Cerebro-shell injection ‘syringe’. Limited-range twin pistols.
Special Abilities: Can interface with any technology in altmode. Low fuel consumption (size based). Size alteration in Transformation (varying sixes of memory stick).
Height: 7’ / 2m

ACCURACY: 8
MELEE: 4
TECH SKILL: 7
CHARISMA: 7
RANK: (Ask 'Sid, he’ll be my boss…)

History/Profile:
Externally, Psychout has never been one to take anything seriously. He works hard to put others at ease, his small stature making it easy for him to be seen as non-threatening, an advantage he used to avoid difficult assignments as often as possible. Decepticon’s who aren’t fully aware of his orders, and even some Autobots, tolerate his company and the more chaotic and less trustworthy on both sides actively seek him out when they need information on something, as it is Psychout’s job to know everything, including where to get a good drink and Swindles comm-number.

He wasn’t always like that though. Back home, whilst the war was still in its infancy, Psychout was one of the keys to Megatron’s dominance of the non-combatant neutral regions. Using his controlling power to breed fear and terror of the Autobots into those who were not informed enough to resist the propaganda, the expert in paranoia could skilfully turn a peaceful safe-region into a chaotic and violent wasteland ripe for Decepticon picking.

After a run in with Starscream who, with a platoon of his troops ruined a decade of covert work through their inexcusable ineptitude, he exacted his revenge by controlling, and eventually causing the death of, a low ranked but well liked member of the Seeker army. As punishment his autonomy was stripped and he was reassigned and reformatted into a cassette and placed as an intelligence operative under a little known, and now deceased, communication officer. The death of his handler came as no shock to Psychout as it was he that sold him out to the authorities when he tried to double-cross Straxus in a bargain to regain his freedom. Eventually he was promoted to work for Soundwave but his abuse of his cerebro-shell on the dim-witted Frenzy and Rumble for entertainment led to his deactivation. He was brought back online after an expended period to assist and watch over a defecting Autobot scientist with whom he created a great working relationship doing unspeakable acts to unwilling ‘volunteers’, profiteering from the war and developing his taste for the finer things in life. Psychout was well known for his legendary exploits when consuming refined energon and visiting the Cybertronian strip clubs and playboy lifestyle in stark contrast to his partner’s all work and no play ethic but the technology they created, whilst not to everyone’s tastes, was so successful that they were just left to it undisturbed.
Unfortunately, a surprise attack on Darkmount in which the labs were destroyed deactivated them both, and they have been left inactive since.

Robot Mode description: A standard Decepticon Cassette, coloured black with yellow decals and eyes. Prefers to wear a battle plate covering the lower half of his face to hide his expressions, and will occasionally disguise himself with a cloak or robe when amongst a species more of his size.

Abilities Detail:
Altmode: can plug into any computer-based technology and seize control of the system and any external connections. He is is not undetectable though, but the lower the technology of the system the less likely he is to be discovered. This also allows him to hack into any connected satellite systems once interfaced with a relevant terminal to monitor communications.
Low fuel consumption: Taking size into account.
Cerebro-Shells: As per weapons specs below.

Weapons specs:
Sniper rifle: shoots high velocity depleted uranium rounds with incredible accuracy up to nearly 1 mile (1500m) which can 'poison' metallic systems as well as carbon-based organic matter. His cerebro-shells cannot be used with this rifle. Tio achieve full range and accuracy Psychout must interface directly with its targeting systems which he must do in altmode, leaving himself open to surprise attack when fully concentrating on aiming. Without interfacing range and accuracy are halved
Twin pistols: Standard ornate Cybertronain side-arms, not very effective but when used together can pack a half decent punch. Carried more for their appearance than function, may once have been quite valuable.
Cerebro Shells Injection device: Requires close-range contact for delivery. The micro-circuited device travels through the sentient’s internal fluids until it reaches the brain, whereupon it opens up and releases tens of thousands of connecting wires. The wires coil around nearby neural dendrites until the brain's conscious functions are effectively rerouted through the cerebro-shell, which puts the mind of the victim under the remote control of Psychout. This control is limited however or obeying simple 2 or 3 word commands and it cannot make the target act outside of is usual nature (i.e. An Autobot like Bumblebee couldn't be controlled and forced to kill a human as that is against his nature, instead he would most likely break the control.)

Weaknesses: His altmode is a memory stick. He can subtly alter his transformation to allow him to access any required port in any terminal but once he is in his altmode, he is unable to move without returning to robot mode.
When he is interfaced with his rifle, and can get so focused on long range combat that he is relatively easy to sneak up on and a sitting duck if caught.
Wants nothing more than to return to his old playboy lifestyle back on Cybertron, and is furious that the planet has been destroyed. He does not know who or how it happened, but he blames Starscream – only someone that incompetent can have caused a disaster of that scale, and as a result he refuses to trust seekers.
