I guess they decided to base this on one of those flying sandcrabs from when Dr Zoidburg's race invaded the earth. Or maybe it's a Klingon dagger dipped in hair gel? :-?

He resembles a bird that has been crushed flat underneath the wheels of a large vehicle.

What a pile.

Sorry to say H-rod but I have to disagree. I'm pretty sure that is the FAB Megs. It was said to have fake ice on it, be far larger then the other FABs and would have some weak looking claws. Compare the pic we have oh his bot and jet mode to the prototypes and they are deffinately different figures.

Mind you after writing this, it may not be a FAB but something of the smaller class, like the Voyager.

I still don't like the desing, but I'm sure this is not the leader class protype we sw a while back. This is voiayger sized. judging by ironhide in the second pic. And it appears its one of those "Event" figures.

Every movie toy line has figures that depict their status in certain portions of the movie while others are just the naturally appearing designs. Take Superman Returns, There is Clark Kent Changer Superman, Kryptonite Smash Superman... Heat Vision Disc throwing superman Superman I'm guessing this is "Frozen in battle Megatron" or something like that.

Then we'll get Battle Damaged Brawl, Or Brightly_Painted_decepticon_logo_on_hood_to_hide_in_plain_sight Barricade. etc....

Look like someone didnt eat breakfast and tried to rush through the design to meet the afternoon deadline. It looks pathetic.

I think it is a voyager myself. The transformation also looks to requir more work the other FAB's. It is not the leader class gigure for sure.

Judging by what looks to be Voyager sized Ironhide in one of the pics, i have to agree that this Megs is Voyager sized not Leader Class.

I am liking the black face though.

They should've got George Lucas to direct the Transformers Movie. I bet he would've made a way better Director than Micheal Bay.

Transformers for the win by far. I still like the look of the movie stuff. It's raw and different.

H-rod, I completely agree, it's got to be a Voyager Icey cool Megatron. Freshens your breath then rips your tounge out of your mouth and eats it.

Except for the visual review I did a few days before (based on those pictures), no info was ever circulated about FAB Megatron before I posted those pictures. At first, I just assumed it was FAB Megatron, but studying the pics proved me wrong. Unlike the stubby/deformed/brickish FABs, this one is bigger, taller, more detailed, more articulated, has lightpiping, feet that transform (the other FABs only have molded feet), and so on. We've had garbage alternate modes before with bigger figures (C. Metroplex, C. Menasor, etc).

Oh, don't get me wrong man, I wasn't holding it against you or anything like that. But you know how it is, you read something, you take it to heart, yadda yadda yadda. At least you were good enough to give us all a discription in advance.
