I have to say, this suggests to me that if they had used these colours for Starscream in the movie, he would have looked silly.

I don't know about Starscream but I do know an Ambulance repaint of Ratchet is planned. The seller may have just said that to get more people interested in the auction. Your guess is as good as mine though at this moment.
