These all look SO good! Especially Scorn! Grimlock looks alright, but that yellow makes it look like someone spilled mustard on him. Also: While I like Scorn, I must ask why him and not Snarl?

Hm, I figured they were going for a G1 group with the fact that the "correct" ones were there, except for Scorn. Eh, again, not that I mind, Scorn is awesome.

I agree. Though I wonder if the point of this set was to provide us with more movie accurate decos. Was that ever mentioned anywhere officially? because if not, then I do not understand it's purpose.

Bah! It would be nice if we could get ONE set at retail instead of it being an overpriced convention exclusive. Oh well, at least I can get that Autobots United set. That's a BBTS Exclusive, right?

That smoky clear plastic and weathered chrome is just ~~dreamy~~
Scorn looks the best by far. Grimlock's odd mustard yellow looks a bit weird, TBH, but the rest of him is great. Slug and Slog suffer from the soft rubber- I really wish they could have painted it, or even just weathered it a bit.
I want them so much, but I will never have them...Oh well, more money to spend on the "vanilla" versions of the molds + Leader Grimlock to mod into the Extincticons.

I don't get all the complaints about the Dino Sparker toys. It say in big print "4+". Can't you guys take a hint? Of course they're crap, they're for toddlers.

For some reason, these guys look really brittle to me. I don't know why, the originals didn't.

It might be due to their having translucent plastic and chrome paint.RazorSlash92 wrote:For some reason, these guys look really brittle to me. I don't know why, the originals didn't.

These all look really nice! If I was to get any of the dinobots (which I have none so far), it would probably be this set.

Hm. Well the dinobot set looks neat, but did they do that scuffing of the chrome parts on purpose to give them a 'battle scarred' appearance? I like my chrome scratch-free

I prefer the regular AoE releases over this set. I really like the different, more vibrant colors the regular ones utilized!

While I think the Platinum Edition Dinobots are disappointing I am very excited for this.

the "black knight" dinobots are takaras deal and are being released seperately, not in a multi-pack.

Video Review - Transformers Age of Extinction One-Step Helicopter Drift
- Motto: "Till All Are Pun!"
Fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 brings us another Transformers: Age of Extinction video review, taking a look at one of the later additions to the One-Step line of figures with Helicopter Drift. Check out his thoughts and review below!
When I first saw the promo pics I was really excited to see a helicopter Drift figure. First it's better detailed than the car version and the overall design of the helicopter is closer to what we saw in the movie. Unless there's a power battler version coming of this design I can see no reason not to recommend this figure.

Really? They looked so much more cooler than the Platinum edition. But the more I look, the more I can see the similarities. Darn it! Well maybe the set won't be so bad after all if only they weren't translucent which they seem to be in that link.

I don't mind terribly that they're translucent, I just hope that it's more of the cloudy-grey kind of translucent instead of straight up clear.crimsondeception wrote:Sabrblade wrote:That's just the Platinum Edition set. As we have said more than once, we are unable to cover all reviews unless users send us a notification at news@seibertron.com. Chuck sends us notifications whenever he uploads one, and if it's new to our news feed, it goes onto the front page.
Please do send us more news whenever you come across it, we're only (stupidly busy) humans volunteering our time as staff!

I will admit that this one step Drift is nifty. Im not a fan of this simple stuff but that works pretty well, though not really one step.
