I managed to fixe roadbuster's mechtech. I think this would help dotm-deluxe-mechtech-fixed-at-least-for-roadbuster-p1224042.php#p1224042
And i agree. The wreckers are probably my favourite deluxes of this line

These look like a good way to introduce my 3-year-old nephew to Transformers! I'll have to get him one for his birthday.

I went out last night to see what these guys looked like, in person. I was disappointed. I don't know why, but all of the deluxe figures look small and cheap to me. Leader Sentinel Prime looked good, but leader BB looked pretty crappy. What is up with his silly-putty looking chest piece and his backpack-hunchback? Voyager-wise I am not digging Primes new 6-pack-abs look. I liked the look of Megatron but again, he looks too small. Ironhide looks like he went on a diet, but the toy doesn't suffer. Unfortunately the store i visited did not have a Shockwave.
I didn't think I was going to buy very much from this line. After seeing the new toys, my thoughts were confirmed. I hope Leader Ironhide turns out as well as Leader Starscream did, because that is the only thing from this line that I am going to buy.

Don't buy him. He can be fun if you want something to fiddle with, but the ROTF toy is leaps and bounds better than the DOTM figure. Poseability is lacking on this one and the feet are freakin huge. He's also like half the size of the original figure.
Whatever feelings about the movie portrayal aside, I always liked this mould. I was hoping the new one would be equally good as the ROTF one but now I think I'm going to save money on him too. Thanks!

Great looking figure and has one of the best sculpts of the lot. The mech tech weapon is also the least obnoxious of the line.. Poseability is good and and can easily stand I more collections than just the movie shelves.
Absolutely agree. What amazed me was that I'm not a racecar fan, and Roadbuster won me over. However I've noticed one thing and wonder if anyone else has the same experience. The paintjob on him sucks, particularly the left side panels. The white seem botched on almost figure I've seen, almost like it was dabbed on like that liquid paper fluid.

yes, when the reviews started showing up I found myself amazed. I was really looking forward to whatever new advances toy making technology has made over the last two years, and found myself incredibly underwhelmed. I was prepared to spend a chunk of change on this movie line, but the first thoughts that filtered through was how much money I would be going to save. Especially for the Voyagers, you really gotta see them in person to feel it.
I'm going to buy Leader Ironhide because I like the character, but even the reviews on his leg transformation just doesn't do it for me. Not after transformations like ROTF Prime, TFTM Voyager Ironhide, or even DOTM Sentinel Prime's transformation. It just seems a bit too simple.

Wait a minute I just saw this when I read your post again.
Is that the case for all of you? The Voyager prices have reduced???
In Singapore they have steadily increased, which is why the size reduction pisses me off. TFTM SGD49.90, ROTF SGD51.90 and DOTM SGD55.90.

That sucks you got a price increase. based off what I'm seeing they are getting more expensive for you.
At walmart dleuxes are 9.88, voyagers are 19.99, and leader is $42.00 so we've seen a price reduction at the cost of less plastic and apparently foreign markets taking a hit.
I just picked up Leader Bumblebee and Shockwave. I'll be reviewing them in a bit.

I don't have the leader version, but based on pics I can see how you can see that look, but I'm fairly sure the leader makes the deluxe pale in comparison.
Although if someone could pull off a fully functional leader class Starscream, I would laugh and probably get it.

Video Review of BBTS Exclusive HeadRobots Alternate Universe Hothead
- Motto: "Til All Are One."
- Weapon: Dual Laser Cannon
Seibertron.com member Optibotimus has informed us that he's posted a review of Seibertron.com site sponsor Big Bad Toy Store's HeadRobots exclusive Alternate Universe Hothead Mini Figure. Optibotimus does a great job of comparing the new exclusive to the HeadRobots previous release of the same name. The new exclusive is more comic/ cartoon accurate version of the Hothead Headmaster figure, giving G1 Classics fans an upgrade they can be excited about.
