so anyone have any big plans for before/after the movie to celebrate?

no not really i just bought 2 tiks off of fandango for the dlp viewing on july 2 at 9 pm

I'll be seeing a showing at 8pm on July 2nd. Before I go with my girlfriend and friends to see the movie, we're going out to eat and have a few drinks.

Gonna bum around outside the theatre beforehand and play some hackey sack. Afterwards, who knows? probably just geek out about it with the gang. You never know, though, when you work with a team of animators.

But I plan on getting the Optimus Prime voice changing helmet, then pushing down old people before the movie starts before skipping away giggling in a Peter Cullen robotic voice.

Hackey sack's never gonna go away. It's moderately good for you and requires very little effort, and doubles as a social event if you do it long enough. Plus, it's better than standing around in a circle smoking. If it ever made it into a Sims game, it would be too powerful because it's so awesome.

Well, I have no future plans for opening night...

because I've already seen it!!!!! BAM!!!


Special Screening Night plans:

Sat in line for 3 hours beforehand reading a book. Made friends some guys next to me. Sat by them during the movie as well.

I was holding a seat for my buddies, two guys and a girl. She never showed, and the guys got in the damn back. The ticket was good for two, so my buddies got mad at me for not letting her in, and of course she wasn't even there.

So after 2 years of waiting, there just had to be drama right before the movie.

Afterwards I drove home, sat around my apartment still not coming down off the shock of the movie. Eventually I did, and it left me so exhausted I went to bed early and slept until 5pm the next day!


Some advice people:

Abandon all hope, ye die hard fans who enter here. This is a crowd pleaser first, and a TF movie second. The jokes are actually really, really vulgar, crude and idiotic. It's like a stoner comedy with giant robots instead of weed. I'm dead serious.

But the giant robots... Oh God the giant robots....

Guys, wear a condom. It's that hardcore. Hell, you might even want a diaper.

I too have already seen the movie and I waited from 11am till 7:30pm when the movie started. The movie is freaking AWESOME!!! I will see it again!

It's all about that brief period of lording over everyone before it comes out for real.

I'm gonna see the movie with my pal, then buy two copies of the movie novelization and the prequel... one for both of us.

That must've been some long 3 hours! I'll be getting to the theater 2 hours early tomorrow just in case. Gonna drive me nuts.

um...im just going to go to the movies and watch it, and then come home...its just a movie...



also, please dont play hacky sack infront of the movie theater..that has got to be one of the most annoying things in the world

see movie(july 3), come home, eat dinner, go to bed, wake up, have a few family members over for 4th of july, do the firework fountain things, eat food, go to bed...

Just purchased my tickets for July 2nd at 8:00 pm.

Looking forward to it, with the bright note that its my Canada day present to myself.

If you're by yourself bring a book. Not PSP. Not DS. A good old fashioned book to slow your mind down.

Remember what I said above about die hard fans. This movie is a pop culture movie. It is not at all worth the 2 long years of internet anguish, having Don Murphy start flame wars on the site, and any kind of "split" in the fandom. The first step is to take a very deep breath.

That said, remember to wear a condom. Because even with what I just said above, it's still that awesome.
