Takara, Takara, and did I mention TAKARA!
Seriously, they nailed it...though I might get a Hasbro version to harvest its lighter blue eyes for my Takara version

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.
And you will know my name is MEGATRON when I lay my vengeance upon you!

I like the coloring on the hasbro version better, and like mentioned above it was only $99.

I voted Takara. Hasbro should have been a no brainer, mind you, aside from the price difference, his got that awesome light blue optics that makes you shiver when looking straight into them. If Takara had just chromed the optics like that of MP-01 on MP-10, he would have been perfect (still voted for the imperfect one

There are two ways to look at this.
Subjectively, the Hasbro version is better and the poll will show that.
He's got a wider release, more people will have him and people always favor what they have and can afford. The price is a big deal here too.
The Hasbro version has the benefits of the light details and the eyes.
Objectively, if the object is to recreate the cartoon accuracy of Prime, the Takara version is superior. It's colors more closely align with what was on the screen and the trailer receives more TLC.
Prime's colors in the cartoon were more of a red and indigo. Hasbro has really gone through efforts in the past few years to change the look of Prime's blue more towards the cobalt blue of the movie incarnation.
