Possible Jazz error/varient?

Weapon: Energy Blades

So, I picked up a Jazz at my Target today, just the normal one, not G1 or Final battle.
So, I was looking at it, and i noticed that is has the Final Battle eye-piping, with the crack in it. Is this a known variant/error?

I tried. i cant seem to get it in focus with the object being so small.
