Just got back and loved the movie. One question though the preview before the movie with the explosion in NY and the big fireball and all. Anyone catch the name of it?

I know I'm a parrot, but I also thought It was Godzilla.

Kinda freaked me out though, I have weird dreams with explosions and stuff like that in them. :shock:

I figured it was whatever the hell the thing from Lost was, only in movie form, and New York.

After that, I figured Godzilla, but apparently, it's just some random monster movie.

All we've gotten for the last few years have been sequels, comics, books, or remakes. There hasn't been an original idea out of Hollywood in years.

The dumb escape from NY movie isnt in production yet (i dont think). All we need to know is that its a monster movie made by JJ Abrams. Its going to be good.

Actually, it is supposed to be an Attack of the 50 Foot Woman remake by the guys that do Lost. Lost is my favorite show so my wife and I keep up with that stuff.

I saw the trailer. I'm not sure what else it could be, but it did seem to be a Godzilla remake...and a really cool one at that.

There was definatly a deep bellow and low roar a couple of times in that trailer....as well and the thundering earthquakes that could be considered foot steps....and dont forget that the kid they were throwing the goodbye party for was going to Japan.....all these things scream Godzilla to me, and i have been a fan since '83..this little trailer that i've seen looks ahellava lot better than the '98 giant t-rex iguana movie.
