Question #1:
I heard that the figure was rereleased, and I'm not talking about the one that comes with the trailer. Is there a difference between the original release and the refresh release? Probably not any differences on the figure, but maybe the packaging? I want to buy an MP-01 Prime to keep sealed but I'd like to have the very first release. If there's no difference in packaging or figure then I'll be just as happy with the refresh release version, but if there's any differences, even minor I might want to just go with the original.
Question #2: For the g1 packaging, is it pretty easy to get the little insert trays that hold the figures? I don't want repros though. I'm thinking about getting a boxed g1 figure but it doesn't have the insert tray so it wouldn't display very well without it.
Thanks in advance!

The rerelease of MP-01 is identical in every way (including packaging) to the original release.
Finding inserts can be difficult and often costly. You are probably better of waiting until you can find the figure you want with the insert.

Thanks for answering smooth, that brings me to a little dilemma (about the g1 tray).
I'm looking for a certain autobot car to be mib. One has the tray but the box is a little beat up and the toy has applied stickers, but everything else is there.
The other has no tray but the toy looks perfect and so does the box, no stickers applied, the inserts are in their little plastic packaging still.
Without the tray auction 2 is pretty worthless as a mib toy. I already have the car loose complete, with stickers already applied (I didn't apply them, bought it second hand). So #2 is what I really want, but with no tray it makes it really difficult.
I guess I can go ahead and say who I want to bid on, but I hope no one here trys to outbid me PLEASE. It's wheeljack. Are wheeljack trays hard to come by?
