This is a pic of the Megatron from the aucion I may buy. I would want to remove ALL of the stickers. The one I am worried about is removing the sqiggly onw on his would-be-chest if in bot mode, or the middle of the gun to make it more comic/toon acurate. I am worried about damaging the chrome when peeling it off. Can someone help me?

Dude that might be a knock off........G1 Megatron never came with a yello cap at the end of his gun nose! But trying to get a sticker off of a crome part might be difficult with the method's posted earlyer. The best way would be to use a blow dryer on the sticker you want to remove. But dont use it on a very hot setting.....you just want to heat up the glue so thats its eazy to remove.

I don't know anything about knockoffs, but that looks like a large marker cap to me. (To get past certain restrictions perhaps?)

Nail polish remover is pretty rough on plastic, I think the orange stuff might be better.

The funny thing about that, is that original, used G1 Megatrons are supposed to not be a problem to sell on eBay. Things could have changed, but that's an awesome "just-in-case" improvisation. :D

As far as I know if its an original they dont have to place anything on it for safty reason's to sell it on Ebay..........shipping it might be another thing all together. But it does look like a marker cap doesnt it?

Another thing that's great for taking off stickers and labels is Skin So Soft, this lotion stuff made by Avon. If you know someone who has some, it works great and is perfectly safe for plastics and chrome.

It shouldn't if you use the methods listed previously in this thread. Good luck!
