So I decided that in lieu of much needed sleep, I would go see this movie today. I enjoyed it very much for what it was. I still prefer the original, but this one paid homage to it very well, even if it came up short in a few areas. The fight at the end against the ED-209s was pretty cool. It did kinda slow down in the 30-40 minutes prior to that. And yeah, the ED-209s were nowhere near as intimidating as the original. Perhaps that's why they needed to use about 5 of them.
