First, there was news that Season 3 of Transformers Prime was delayed then it now went from 16 episodes to 13 episodes. What happen here? What's going on?
Also, please say it ain't so? Season 3 of TF Prime will be the last one? NOOOOOOOOOO!
What's going on? delay in premiere, only 13 episodes and season 3 is maybe the last season.
Somebody please tell me what's going on with these changes.

It was always meant to be 13 episodes. 16 was an error. The creators' original goal was to make 65 episodes, which they will reach with season 3 since 26 + 26 + 13 = 65. They said that they were going to make the season 3 fianle be on the level of a series finale should they have to end it there, and that's ultimately what is being done.
But just because the Prime cartoon is ending doesn't mean that it's the end of the show's continuity. TF: Prime is but one chapter in the grand Aligned story, and Hasbro very likely has additional plans for something to come afterward.
