Ok, this is a bit of a strange one. Last night (Wednesday) I went into Forbidden Planet in London and bought my latest batch of Transformers comics. I got Megatron Origin #4 and Devastation 1 and 2. Tonight I read through them but when I picked up my copy of Devastation #2 I noticed something strange about the cover.
Just below Hot Rod's torso (Cover B) there is a signature in black sharpie which appears to be Simon Furman's!! How strange is that? I did not pay any extra for it and as far as I know he has not done any autograph session's at the store recently. It would be very strange IMO if someone went around faking his signature.
So has someone faked it? Or has Simon signed a random number of covers and I just got lucky? Or has he been in the store and signed some for fun as I have heard a number of writers do with their work?
What's everyone's view?
Simon Furman Signature?

Furman signed some stock in store while he was there last week.
Don't believe me? Check out his <a href="http://simonfurman.wordpress.com/2007/10/26/post-planet/">blog</a>.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I picked up the graphic novel Matrix Quest from FP in Newcastle the other week, and in that same kind of pen was the signature of Furman, Geoff Senior and someone I didn't recognise. Payed £2.99 for it and didn't even realise they were in there until I got it home.
Unfortunatly, I haven't seen their sigs so I don't know if they are ligit or not. I will believe they are.
