A-Stone Toys has got the licence to produce a super deformed Fortress Maximus toy for the summer 2013 Wonderfestival in Japan. It is normal for companies to get a one day licence from Takara for Wonderfest with the understanding that the items will only be sold at the show. The figure comes with the usual gun and mastersword accessories. It also features a removable head to transform into his starship mode. The second image suggests that there will be Grand Max and Brave Max version available as well. Summer Wonder Festival is July 28. Check out all the images below.

Twipple user Transfunket has shared a couple of images of the officially licensed Super Deformed Fortress Maximus figure currently for sale at Summer Wonderfest from A-Stone Toys. The figure comes in all three flavors Fortress Maximus, Brave Maximus, and Grand Maximus with gun, Master Sword. The figure can transform into star ship mode, and the head is removable and transformable. Images mirrored below.

If you just glance at the top photo, it looks like lil' Grand has his pretender-shell head! Then you realize it's some dude in just the right position in the background...

What the hey?! Two of them are holding the wrong swords. Brave Max is holding Grand Max's Master Blade, and Grand Max is holding Brave Max's Super God Sword/God Fire Sword.

Not to mention that Grand Max didn't have a human headed Pretender Shell.

Well, okay, the cartoon drew human eyes behind his visor, but the toy's shell head was all robotic.

I just hope Harmony Gold doesn't get wind of this. They may think the name "Super Deformed Fortress Maximus" is too close to something they think they own, and decide to sue... :lol:
