TFCC Magazine Issue 54 Reveals Transformers Generations Crosscut and Tankor
- Motto: "I ain't got time to bleed!"
- Weapon: Gattling Gun
Seibertron.com has received our copy of TFCC Magazine issue #54, you know the one with Generations Rattrap on the cover. Well the new reveals aren't limited to the cover, the interior pages reveal Rattrap in both modes, Deluxe Tankor, and Deluxe Crosscut! Deluxe Tankor in a brand new mold and update the Transformers Beast Machines Tankor! Deluxe Crosscut is a silver redeco of the recently release IDW Skids with a new red head mold, an homage to the e-Hobby exclusive.
As much as we would love to post the page scan we will comply with the Club's wishes and not post material from the magazine. Those of you who are members should be receiving your own copy soon.

Dammit Hasbro, you're supposed to FIX the scale issues with new Beast Machines figures. Tankor a mere Deluxe, grumble grumble grumble.

Re: TFCC Magazine Issue 54 Reveals Transformers Generations Crosscut and Tankor
Oh, he's that Crosscut, naturally. For a second, I thought we were getting that saucer-headed exploding guy as a club exclusive.
And I'll keep repeating this until someone officially does it:
Repaint Tankor in minty Cybertronian colors for G2 Re-Redux so I can get army buildin', dammit! If I have to buy a bunch of Tankors to repaint myself, it'll give Hasbro the wrong idea about where they can stick Beast Machines. Well, not if these IDW figs turn up at 5-Below in a year, like those two cases of Prime deluxes; just imagine how awesome it'd be if EVERY new troop-builder followed the lead of the PRID Vehicons!

Can't wait for Tankor.
Since I own Skids and consider his toy to be a little toward the weak side, I think I'll steer clear of Crosscut.

Tankor looks really good, guys. So does Crosscut. I think a majority will like them!
All that remains is Nightbeat, who is oddly absent from the page...

Also, Tankor has the Vehicon symbol. And Rattrap's gun can separate into two different weapons, just like Skids.
The rat mode is pretty kanine looking though, if you ask me.

This makes 17 Deluxes in the series thus far. Now all we need is a confirmation of Nightbeat.

Should we really have to be good little fans and wait for the magazine to show up in our mailboxes ? It's not our fault that we all don't live in Texas and get Funpub mail so quick. I totally respect that the news staff themselves don't post scans on the website. But you shouldn't discourage fans who have no vetted interest in Funpub from sharing links. After all a fansite would be nothing without the fans.

Maybe somebody can PM everybody a link if it has to be so top secret...

He's fairly accurate, but he's less... blocky. Not saying he's round at all, but the corners feel less pointy, if that makes any sense. Tank mode is rocking, longer than what it used to be. Though the cannon is a little smaller.

Re: TFCC Magazine Issue 54 Reveals Transformers Generations Crosscut and Tankor
I'm sure some of you must have seen the pics. I'm not sure I saw the same ones. Tankor does...how to put this politely...not look like my cup of tea. He don't float my boat. He's a kettle of rancid post oil-spill+Fukushima contaminated waters fish. Me no wanty.
Crosscut looks pretty cool, not sure I've any use for the character but he's a nice, not too bland generic. Rattrap is nice enough, although I would have preferred Transmetal, this one's pretty cool too.

I don't blame the producers of a print magazine for wanting to keep one of the few exclusive things they get as an incentive to people who've paid for their publication. Probably won't be long before the pictures are online, or we see an official thing about it from Hasbro.

I understand where you're coming from, believe me I do, but the site is watched by FunPub, Hasbro, Paramount etc ... we often receive requests to take things down before official unveils.
And hey, at least you only have to wait a few days. When I was in the club I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks to get my magazine, by which time everyone had already moved on from the conversation.

Re: TFCC Magazine Issue 54 Reveals Transformers Generations Crosscut and Tankor
Saw the pics.
Rattrap looks great, though I'm a touch disappointed his rat mode is not his cute show self, but it's obviously meant to evoke his original toy so I can appreciate that. Even if that means he looks less like a rat and more like a generic carnivorous mammal.
Tankor's OK, but he seems a bit less imposing than he should be, like he's not as bulky. He could do with some kind of gimmick in his head, like an articulated jaw or that Cylon eye thing. Wish he was a Voyager, but on the other hand they could always make Cyberverse Jetstorm and Thrust.
Crosscut is... silver. Meh, don't really care.

I don't subscribe so I will have to wait (other things to spend my money on right now).
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
