Smileys don't make you cool. Just naming the figure will suffice, thanks.

G1 Sunstreaker. I'd volunteer to take pics of mine, but he isn't exactly in the best shape, sadly. Sunstreaker needs some love.

Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Hound, Skids and Blurr are on my list of figures to get posted some time this year. I think they're the only 5 Autobot cars that haven't been posted yet.

Do the photographs have to be of the actual G1 toy or will the reissue versions work? I'm not that familiar with the gallery rules but the reissues seem to be identical.

For the time being, I haven't been differentiating between reissues and originals. I have originals of all 5 of these (though my original Hound has definitely seen better days) so it doesn't really make a difference with these guys. I might even do galleries of the reissue as well as the original because it's kind of fun to look at the differences in packaging and condition.
As for Sunstreaker, I actually have the rare VSZ version (who comes with Skids and Buzzsaw). The figure is oddly missing it's original stickers. I have a set of repro labels but I really want to use original stickers on the figure. I keep checking eBay for original stickers for Sunstreaker but I haven't had any luck just yet. To be honest, that's what's really holding me back from doing these remaining Autobot cars.

As taken from the all we need is a little energon, and a lot of love thread:

hey ryan, could we see a pic of all of these together by chance? :>
That's a great idea.. you should submit it in the stiky at the top of the Toys thread section..

This is a great figure, he has excellent posability, a great gun for a beast, and a full sized detailed shield. This great figure never gets any love, and it's sad because like so many other filler characters, he's more fun that most of the mainstream.
In my collective he is my G1 Megatron's guard and assistant, whos task is to protect and serve all versions of his G1 self.
If you can't find this figure, I'll lend you mine.
Hell, as long as I get them back, I'll box up a bunch of guys you may not have to expand the colony!
Yes! I always loved Terragator, a very underrated figure, great bio, great beast mode, great robot mode, great weapons, great NAME!
he's my favourite Fuzor!

I want to make some new sigs of her, but I want to wait to use your photos, you know, since you own the friggin' site I work for

Yep, she'll be posted this week along with BotCon Dreadwind (the last BotCon 2007 figure to make it to the site), blue & white Soundwave, Rumble and Frenzy. I have some other figures I'm working on as well on the side such as the Dinobots which I might try to finish up next weekend but we'll see. Also have 3 of the 5 Fast Action Battlers waiting on the sidelines. Keep hoping BBTS will get Bumblebee and Barricade in stock so I can do all 5 at one time for the comparison pics.

Since you are (I assume you are) going to make a little something for the spotlight on the front page for the entire Botcon set once all is said and done, you should make one for Arcee too, people love the toy, and I'm trying to get people excited about the design, something on the spotlight on the front page (like you did for '08 Bumblebee) would do great things for that.
I could whip something up with one of your photos if you want, let me know, it would be my pleasure.

I like Arcee but not enough to want her in the movie. She'd be tiny! Like 8 or 9 feet tall. I do like her hooker boots though. She'll have around 200 photos ... I couldn't stop taking photos of her plus it doesn't help that I couldn't find how to transform her tires properly so I just took photos of them styled 3 different ways, though I think I ultimately find how they should be, which isn't how they're done in the instruction booklet. It basically ends up looking like a shawl, but hey, whatever floats her boat. Or top. Or whatever.

Variety is the spice of life.
This is probably the wrong place to post this, but since we are on the subject... Not all Transformers need to be huge to be cool. People tend to forgot how tall 9 feet actually is. I had time to whip up this quick size comparison you see below: Average guy, next to a confirmed 9-foot-tall rocket, and there's Arcee as she would like in the movie. Remember how much greater the bots become when they transform. Bumblebee is just a relatively small Camaro yet his bot mode is huge, even Jazz is tall consider the Solstice is rather tiny (remember those discussions at first about how fans were skeptical about how the robots could go from such medium-sized cars to tall robots?).
Besides, if we are ever going to get a motorbike TF in a live action film, it's gonna be Arcee. There is only so much you can do with four-wheeled cars. Can you imagine a motorbike transforming at full speed? Yeah, she'd be smaller, but she would be different, and interesting. Not just "another car Autobot". It's your site, but consider it, she should be considered just for her uniqueness and originality.

If she gets a better head sculpt, I'd throw the site's support behind her. I actually like her original head design but the crazy hair design turns me off to hear design. I was able to get some really good pics of her regardless. I liked the figure much better after the gallery than I did before the gallery. I didn't realize she would have so many fun effiminant poses.

Yeah, the head is weird to alot of people. They could change it and I wouldn't care, as long as they change it to something better.
Seibertron wrote:I actually like her original head design but the crazy hair design turns me off to her design.
You mean the one from the other concept art designs? The one that looks like it could be her protoform? Yeah, I prefer that one too.
Seibertron wrote:I didn't realize she would have so many fun effiminant poses.
That scares me.
Ok, I'm gonna leave this thread alone now, kthx buh-bye!
