the flood (halo) against a horde of metroids (metroid). becuase the flood rely on superior numbers ill leave the exact amount of metroids involved at your discretion.

scenario: the galactic federation finds out about the flood and breed metroids to release on installation 4 in the hopes that the metroids and the flood will kill eachother and the fed can clean up the survivors. all the metroids are larval, but if they survive long enough they can transform into their later stages.

That depend on the time of Metroid. If they evolve to Omega Metroid, the Flood are DEAD!!! Even if i doN't know much about Halo...i know how strong some Metroid Form can be!

But lets look at the bright side! Master Chief will come to wipe out the Floo and Samus will hunt the Metroid! They will either tag-team or fight!

I may be branded as a "Gamer Heretic", but i don't like Master Chief!

All the Metroids have to do is fly to the mountains and wait for the Flood to subside.
