so transformers has been going on for 25 years now and still has a few good years left thanks to the movies but where do you guys and gals think transformers are headed? new cartoons? more comics? a 4th and 5th movie? what im getting at is the whole recreating of optimus and megatron can only be done so much... right? i mean, i love transformers and always will but if it doesnt start going in a new direction i fear for the future of our beloved transformers...

so what do you guys think?

Maybe for us, the whole recreation of Optimus and Megatron gets old but their will always be a new generation of kids that no nothing about the struggles between the Autobots and Decepticons.

Its old for us because many of us old timers have been following this story for 25+ years. Little kids haven't.

Transformers will probably live forever, like Batman, Barbie, you name it.

Just imagine the children of the 80's filling up toy show early-bird lines, having taken our rightful place in the circle of life where once stood today's older generation in the same lines. No longer will the grey-haired attendees stand eagerly anticipating die-cast cars, but Transformers.

This is a future we will honerably earn, if our purchases today can keep the brand alive.

I didn't mention this earlier but I have 4 Nephews and all of these kids became interested in TF's around the time a series started.

Nephew 1 Beast Wars
Nephew 2 RID
Nephew 3 Armada
Nephew 4 Animated

Its funny, but we have serious fights over holidays about TF Series. I love my baby nephew, oh man don't you tell him Animated sucks. He will punch you in the face. Loves Blitzwing.

:D It made my day to know there's a little kid out there who's favorite is Blitzwing.
