Looking at the generations stuff from 2012 and now, I can't help but be happy. Hasbro seems to be doing quite well. I'm even immensely enjoying the RID2015 stuff. Like, I can't imagine anyone handling Drift, and thinking that he sucks. So kudos to Hasbro, they're putting out solid stuff

I'm not a Hasbro fanboy but I am quite happy with what Hasbro have been releasing lately. Combiner Wars is pretty awesome and the Chug stuff is good too especially since there is only the comics and no cartoon to help out with marketing.

At the end of the day they could just flag all the Chug stuff and just say "Its movie and prime\RID or nothing"

I am on a super tight budget too with wedding, house, travel and all that and even I feel that I am pretty spoilt for choice of characters and it seems that the official line is getting around to a lot of G1 characters.

I don't agree with some of Hasbro's business practices, and some of their corporate culture. Especially their attitude towards their creative departments, but art and money have never really been friends.

I have been waiting for an opportunity to say what Ironhidensh said a page ago.
The sooner the "super fans" realize exactly what they are collecting, toys, the better off we will all be.

Hasbro does a fine job of making contemporary updates to old characters, exploring new directions for the brand, and keeping Transformers alive and well.

One thing I have learned in 20 years of collecting is that patience is a virtue. If you hold out long enough, Hasbro will make it. Combiner Wars are a perfect example. Another is the current legends class. I had been waiting for "scout" sized updates of the G1 minis for years (i.e. Bee, Windcharger, Gears, Cliff etc.) I could have gotten some 3rd party stuff, but I knew if I waited, Hasbro would do it. And at a price that made sense.

Uncle Hasby, I'll be over here happily waiting. :D
